...and kills my fucking neighbors across the street. They're arguing outside yet again. It's giving me a headache. I guess I should be grateful they aren't blasting music. These people drive me nuts. For anyone who has a life and doesn't read my blog, these people....
--are most likely the ones that burglarized our house (one even has a cut on his hand)
--operate a revolving door. people come in and out all the time
--are young idiots most unlikely unsupervized by their idiot parents
--don't appear to have anything resembling regular jobs or school
--park on their grass (it's tacky enough to be annoying)
--are always outside, lounging like a little gang
--honk their horn when we arrive on several occassions (is it a signal?)
--came out of their house and watched us many times as we moved in
--play loud ghetto-type music, many times at odd hours of the night (thankfully, they don't do this one as often as they used to, but it's only been a month)
--are generally noisy: scream, hoot, holler, honk their horns, you name it...
--drive gay souped up cars with loud lawn mower engines and speakers designed to explode a mongoose on impact
--are ugly (yes, that counts!)
In conclusion, I hate them and would be generally pleased should they die sometime in the immediate future.
-
Ugly is no reason to hate someone Nuri, shame on you!

I don't know what the noise ordinance is in San Antonio, but here you can't make too much noise between 11 pm and 6 am. If they make noise at night again, call the fucking police on their asses. Non-emergency police number is 611.
-
Damn, these are the people who live across the street from us! The only thing they don't do is honk the horn when we arrive. We saw them before we moved in, which is why I got out of the moving truck with the rifle.
Tall order perhaps, but your dad needs to put in an appearance, preferably packing a visible piece or two. Or get another male acquaintance to do the same. You're three women alone, so you're an easy hit, and neither you nor Merla have any little snatchdragons, revolving cast of boyfriends or husbands, so you're looking for some dick. Somebody needs to change that perception.
Before you call the police for noise, somebody might want to make a call to the local precinct & see if they have any complaints on file. If the cops suddenly start popping by for noise right after you've moved in, it's gonna be pretty obvious who made the call, which will set you up for retaliation.
Honestly, I'd chell the lease & see if there's any way you can get out of it for misrepresentation of the property, esp. if the police have a record of trouble at that location.

1) find a really huge imposing guy
2) make sure he is gay
3) invite him over alot but when he comes over make him wear really mean looking clothes(biker/goth/homeboy, whatever your flavah)
4) teach him how to scowl
5) pay him in girly anime

poppy gots the picture. Shaved heads & visible piercings are a plus. Type of car isn't important, but death metal blasting out the windows is.

that looks like university students to me :D (i mean, their behavior when they live in houses/frat houses)

Yeah, it looked that way to us, too... except with the complete and utter abscence of any university.

Yeah, that's why we're hesitant. The guy down the street has called the cops before. I think with school starting, they've toned it down. There's at least one little kid living there, so I guess he needs his zzz's or somethin'. My mom is insistant that I MMOB, so I programmed the police into my phone and intend to call them when it's absolutely neccessary.

We have found a least a public record of "police calls" (I forget the correct term for it) and there are a good number for some of our neighbors. (Missing person! EEK!) We need to do everything we can to not break the lease unfortunately. My mom is working with Habitat For Humanity to get a home, and I believe breaking any leases is a huge no-no. We're working with the landlord and now have a security system and should be getting some floodlights. It doesn't change the fact that I still hate it here and things would be easier with these people dead. :D

Some petty but oddly-satisfying things you can do in the meantime:
Get license plate numbers and go to smokingvehicles.com. They will get nastygrams in the mail, and it's anonymous.
Costs a few stamps: find out their names (phone book or Bexar County Appraisal District website if they own the house) and sign them up for newsletters & magazine you think they would despise. Or start sending them single playing cards in the mail, like the aces, jokers & court cards from the black suits, then stop after sending one red one. I've heard this really tweaks gangsta wannabes for some reason.
Do they have any dogs? Get a ultrasonic dog whistle and blow it after their lights go out.

Posted the same thing twice - bizarre! Oh, well....
Is the lease for a year or 6 months? And will you be able to get out of it if you're approved for an HFH house? I'd LOVE to be in an HFH neighborhood - people really appreciate their homes and don't put up with anyone junking up the place or causing shit.
I can't begin to describe how odd our block looks now. Because of property shortages close to town, our area situated between 3 major freeways has been "discovered". Since 2001, our house has gone up almost $40,000 in value. Across the street, we have the previously-described twin house of Nuri's neighbors, a bright yellow & green one, a house under renovation with 1/2 story being added, a trailer-trash dump, one that I think is a flophouse for illegal immigrants (they have the flock of chickens, lots of work trucks in the front yard every morning & used to cook on a stove beside the front door with a cord running into a generator), a Better Home & Gardens dream cottage and three newly-built houses (one is 3 stories) ranging from $350,000-$600,000 according to realtor.com.

It's a year and I don't think so. We might try to negotiate a release with the broker as soon as the other home is ready.
-
Don't you wish people could petition a judge to kill someone? Will the world miss these people?

Bernie often impresses with knowledge and intelligence.
-
Bernie was very lucky to have parents who taught her to read when she was four... :)
and then answered questions with, "Go look it up! We're watching TV!" :P
-
Yeah... who says absent parenting never works!
-
They were there, but god help any of us who made a peep during the weather forecast. I think my mom wanted to do the weatherman.
-
was it john bolaris? hes a hottie with a bodyyy
-
Nah, it was a local guy. She actually called the station & talked to him after he came back from his "kick-my-coke-habit" hiatus.
-
i bet he was really good on predicting when it was going to snow :D
-
I like him more than Dr. Neil Frank, our National Hurricane Expert. Whenever there's a raincloud in the Gulf of Mexico during hurricane season, he practically shoots a wad right on TV. <_<
-
theres one here, i think he works for nbc, that his nickname is "Hurricane", and if you see him he looks like the typical nerd with glasses and one of those ties that are short..hmmm i dont know how they are called:-/ but yeah, geek!
-
I read at four. And I'm a dumbass. My mother was taught to read when she she was taught to speak, allegedly at age 2. And fuck me if mother isn't god damn dumb as shit.
