Title: Happy ('Murican) Thanksgibbon.
Post by: B E C K on Nov 25, 2016, 01:47:02 AM
Or, like, whatever.  I'll be honest, I slept most of the day away.  Part of it unintentionally, but the rest of it was on purpose tho'.  I did eat some turkey.  Sliced, from a container of deli meat.   :poo:

You slept? Charging your batteries for Black Friday?

Got to visit with the extended family...that part who aren't douchebags, anyway, so that was nice. Spent the rest of the day watching football, and the teams I was for won, so that was also nice.

And, as I don't do Black Friday--my Christmas shopping is done, and I haven't gone to town on the day after Thanksgiving since I quit retail--I'll be kicking it at home and doing absolutely nothing I don't feel like doing. I won't get a vacation again this year, so I'll take it where I can.

Nope, got my period.  Tee hee, overshared.  :stickdance:

Black Friday is giant scam anyway.  Will not participate.

Don't you want to be a part of a stampede that tramples an unsuspecting retiree?

And then later that night when it's on the news, you can say, "That was me! I helped!"

I have some friends that go to North Dakota every year, but they say it's really tame compared to the horror stories you hear about.

Just imagine what it'd be like if there was a food shortage rather than a big TV sale.

I'm sure everything in ND is tamer than what you hear about.

Man, if there were a food shortage I'd bet it'd be a day or so before a bunch of folks resorted to cannibalism. Muricans needs their meat.

Someone with art powers needs to do a mockup of the Thanksgibbon. I'm guessing he's dressed like a Puritan, or he has the buckle hat at the very least.

Ha ha, there's actually search results for "Thanksgibbon."  I just started saying that shit off the top of my head but others are also equally ape-inclined.  The art's hella lazy tho'.  If you shooped the hat, you could've at least covered his teeny nips and lil' gibbony bits.  What kind of decadent puritan is this?

I don't think I took years.  :(  But I also have a considerable lack of confidence in that answer.  :P  Not a lot of activity here lately but, OH, oh, Fifi got engaged.  So there's that.

He's become less frequent but he drops by now and then.  Lately, it's been me, Shwiggs, and joeram-ram.

Rama pops in now and then.  Used to be he wasn't posting here much but I'd still see him in my FB feed but even his FB posts are less frequent lately so maybe he's just busy with stuff.  Sis is good.  Completely in love with Finding Dory and just watches that movie over and over again.  ;D  What about you?  Are you back in Vietnam or did you go elsewhere after glorious Nippon?

You have to say my name one more time so I can post again.

Anyway the answer is work....Work is what is keeping me from posting more. I can actually post to facebook from work (Not suppose to though) but I can't come here from work. That's why I seem to be on Facebook more.

I'm increasingly flustered by the social media experience, so I've resorted to the old faithful forums. I like this atmosphere much better.

Why can't you stand her?  She's actually on my shit-list.  Just a lot of things she does that wouldn't be bad if she only did one or two of them, but they've combined into a Megazord of shittyness and made her a shitty person in my eyes.

Good luck.  I hope you get back to glorious Nippon.

thanks <3

Why can't you stand her?

She looks fake, like she's bad on the inside. Also read many accounts of people saying she treats her staff like shit, she's evil irl , etc etc.
I don't think she's funny either.

Ha ha, the biggest offense by a comedienne.  But omg, I hadn't even heard the thing about how she treats her staff.  The whole Iggygate started it for me and how Ellen casually destroyed the reputation of Mutts and Moms and the owners with her tv-tears over a dog she didn't even want.  Then Ellen's stans all came out in full force sending death threats to a doggie rehome non-profit of all things and Ellen just sat on her ass and didn't do a damn thing to dissuade them.
