None of you ingrate asses added me on IG. So thanks about that. Actually, like a month ago I was looking over the "recommended for you" profiles on my IG and started noticing all the profiles that were showing up were from friends I had on Facebook. Now, the address I used for Facebook was a complete different one than the one I used for IG, so HOW THE HELL DID THEY KNOW WHO MY FRIENDS WERE?! Also I have a total of like 5 actual friends on IG since I never gave my name to anyone before I closed fb. That freaks me out every time I think about . I mean what the hell.

Once you email them or they email you, there's now a way for services to connect you guys. And none of us here had Instagram. I actually have it now but there's, like, nothing on it. Ha ha, yeah. Facebook owns Instagram (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2127343/Facebook-buys-Instagram-13-employees-share-100m-CEO-Kevin-Systrom-set-make-400m.html) so it's all easily shared, too. Let's say you knew Jana, Kara, Ryan, Dina, and Tammy at Drexel. You email Jana with the email you use for Instagram. Jana has Instagram and Facebook connected to that email account. Instagram will see that Jana is following Kara on Instagram. Jana has not emailed Ryan but is friends with Ryan on Facebook. Ryan is close friends with Dina. He's friended Dina on Facebook and follows her on Instagram. Dina, Ryan, and Jana put they went to Drexel on their Facebook profiles and all three indicated they graduated the same year. Meanwhile, Tammy has Instagram and follows Dina. Tammy has also emailed Jana and Kara from the email she uses for Instagram. Instagram will now believe it's highly likely you may all know each other and suggest Jana, Kara, Tammy, Ryan, and Dina as potential friends for you on Instagram. Or something like that. :raiseeyebrow:

Include your account when recommending similar accounts people might want to follow.[?]

When I click on the [?], it says on the linked page:
"Keep in mind that when you opt out of account suggestions on your profile, you won't appear as a suggestion on someone else's profile either."

Do you have that box checked? Maybe you should try unchecking it.
