Joel Hodgson the creator of Mystery Science Theater 3000 has started a kickstarter to bring the show back.

I put in my money (now that I actually have money to put in.) but that was before he announced the new cast. I don't mind Jonah Rey who I know from Nerdist podcast and At Midnight, but Felica Day and Patton Oswald? Was expecting something a little more low key and less fan boyish then that...and not even to Mistie Fanboys, but just internet ones in general. Also a lot of the old cast has come out and said they won't be part of this. So it is starting to feel like a Guns and Roses reunion tour and only Axel is there.

I'm perfectly okay with all of the casting choices.

It's all over and they raised 5.7 million making it the largest video kickstarter in history. It ended up beating out the Veronica Mars movie for that honor, and we are getting 14 new episodes of the show.
I just hope they release them on DVD and not just Digital Downloads, so I can put them on my shelf as Season 11.

A DVD release wasn't one of the tiers or something?

Yeah...but I didn't have an extra 85 bucks laying around at the time. Might still be able to order that, but I won't have that kinda "Flush down the toliet" money till at least post tax return. Always have money in the summer, but never in the winter....and my job isn't even seasonal. Just the way it seems to go.

Does shit break in the cold or something? How is the weather there right now anyway. I'm so disappointed in El Nino. Wet and colder, my ass. The forecasted highs are in the 80's for the next week. Any rain forecasted becomes God spittle at best.

Don't know. But starting in Oct the money gets thinner...then Christmas rolls around and of course my family that only see at Christmas show up...then recovering from that...and then tax return seems to get it back on track. So by April, things are pretty good again.
Cold. Highs only like 38, and it is suppose to snow on Sunday. We had floods in Nov, but not much snow this year so far. But usually Jan, Feb, and March and when we get the most.

There you go. Stop blowing it all on Halloween.

But Halloween is awesome....
Actually been house hunting lately and one of the things I was looking for was someplace that gets Trick or Treaters. Not cause I want to give free candy to ungrateful asshole kids, but just so I can go Halloween nuts and not seem so needless and odd.
