I adopted a kitten! :poo: :poo:
She is so cute, only 6 weeks old (she was rescued, her mom abandoned her). Before adopting her I was worried cause I thought my husband would be allergic to her (he had reactions when he was younger he said) but now I am getting allergic reactions! It is raining a lot right now, and I am allergic to humidity so hopefully that is what is making me sneeze and stuff. If not I don't know what I would do, it would suck to give her away but allergies suck too ::)

I lived in Lima Peru for the first 17 years of my life. Humidty would go up to 98% all day everyday during the cold months. IT WAS HELL.
Anyways yeah I am definitely allergic to the kitty :( I am going to try to tough it up for some days to see if I can get used to it

I love kittens, but I can't eat a whole one.

Wash stuff often (like bedding) and air out your house. Or have the maid do it. However that goes for you. Good luck with kitty. :)

We don't let her go into any of the bedrooms, she just stays in the living room (and sometimes kitchen) area and at nights or when we go out we put her in the bathroom and close the door. Ive heard cats act like assholes around 8 months, like they destroy everything they find etc. Is that true for all of them? Or just some?

Just for some. But all cats need to scratch something so there should be a kitty tree, scratching post or whatever for kitty to sharpen its claws on. If your kitty has super sharp claws like some of mine do, then it also helps to clip their nails.

Oh god I had completely forgotten about that one.
Well I've been taking Zyrtec for the last couple of days to see if my allergy will go away after a week. If not I guess I'll have to give the kitten back since I ain't living my life taking Zyrtec everyday

Forgot to post a pic of her!
Had to go to the doc to get an inhaler cause it was getting worse and worse :( Told me to take claritin instead of zyrtec and it works a bit better

So yesterday I had to take her back to the veterinary. The day before I ended up having to go to emergency at the hospital because my chest was closing so they had to give me ventin and steroids, doctor said the allergy made me develop asthma so he told me I had to give the cat away :(
Fortunately she already has a new place to go since someone went to the vet asking for an all white or all black cat (hopefully not for food or any other viet weird shit)
Ill miss the little bitter :(
