Man, I tackled them early this year.
-
Hey did you see my new TV that got with my tax return over a month ago? It's awesome.
-
I should be getting a nice return. But I'm thinking next year I will do everything I can to eliminate as much withholding as possible. If anyone is gonna earn interest on my money, it should be me.
-
Had 'em done weeks ago :)
And found out I owe the bastards even more money :(
-
Taxes are such bullshit. Taxes on productivity (I.e., the income tax) are bad enough, but the ritual of returns are utterly retarded. Hey, Uncle Sam...you know what I make. You know what I paid in. Just send me a chell or a bill with a single page letter showing how you calculated it.

Ha ha, I was just telling Merla this the other day. That's why I always put them off. I'm poor. I don't own shit so doing my taxes is complete cake. But I hate them. I fucking hate them. I hate touching them. I hate paperwork with all sorts of numbers and letters and dashes and lingo. Every year I gotta sit down, open up a tax program and punch in fuckin' numbers like a trained monkey. It's so goddamn tedious. The fuckin' government watches our every move. They know who lives with who, what jobs they have, what kids they have, what property they own. Just take whatever the fuck you're gonna take from my paycheck and fuck off.

When i was living in the US I was being taxed 33-35% of my income. FUCK THAT.
And guess what, if you are a US citizen living abroad, if you made more than certain amount of money you have to pay taxes too. FUCK THAT
-
Man, I'd kill for paying only 33-35% income tax. I pay 50-60%.
But then again I do live in a communist dictatorship

You make good dough right? and you have free insurance too?? or maybe cheap? (def cheaper than in the US) and free schooling too?
not in the US.
Unless you dont do shit for a living and are a disease to society, then you get everything for free.
I dont understand how this still works there

I have nigh free insurance thru my job (as long as I use the hospital where I work)... at least until the employer mandate kicks in, and then I'll have the same shitty ACA insurance everybody else will be forced into. And I won't be eligible for subsidies, because I (currently) make too much. And I'll get the added pleasure of paying higher taxes to boot. But at least my birth control and maternity expenses will be covered, right?

You gotta be prepared for those sqwerl babies.
