Or do you know of anyone like either of the above? Just curious or whatever.

Define extreme.

Like their house could come out in Hoarders kind of hoarder. Minimalist as in they have a room out of a magazine with barely any junk and shit.

Japanese are hoarders supreme. I just got a book about japanese apartments/houses and you can see this in many of their pics. The book is http://www.amazon.co.jp/TOKYO-STYLE-ちくま文庫-都築-響一/dp/4480038094/ref=pd_sim_b_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1JQW68XE0NA71R59JZZW
This one is much better tho http://www.amazon.co.jp/堕落部屋-川本史織/dp/4766124618/ref=pd_sim_b_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1YMSNTYDY266JZ76CQHN

I have a ton of stuff, but it's not stacked all over the place. I am planning to build a shed for my non-every day things like old nerd stuff (comics, figures, etc), my portable work bench, and my tools, as well as projected future pursuits like a ham radio table, a bullet reloading station, and possibly a sheltered shooting lane.

oh man for some reason your post made me remember the apt of Steve Carell in 40 year old virgin lol

And I'm only 36!

You're a wizard already!

I'm throwing shit out. I'm tired of having too much stuff. It's very liberating. I look forward to getting rid of more of it.
-
I'm always getting rid of stuff, but then I'm just replacing it with other stuff.
-
At least you're maintaining a nice equilibrium.

I'm the "All Kinds of Junk" Alchemist. I practice equivalent exchange.
