Title: Sold the car.

Yea, we sold the car after spending about $350 to fix it up, and we got $850 for it, which was more than I expected for a car with a bunch of small problems.

Lady took it right away after haggling it a little. Once we were willing to fix the oil leak, we got tons of potental buyers.

EDIT: But you should know, just because the car was 'designed' in America, doesn't mean squat. Most of the car is still manufactured over seas, they just put it together here.

people i know have a 1994 taurus, never took care of it and it still runs fine.

they actually make the engines about 35 minutes away from where i live

My best car ever? 1982 Toyota Tercel!! Our Jeep runs a close second, and the '79 Mercury Zephyr I'm driving is 3rd. Got it for $1200 2 years ago with 47K original miles on it, been in the shop 3 times and the highest bill to date is $160.

I still want a Wrangler Rubicon on a Mini Cooper though. :(
