Yeah, it suffered a real lame-oid infestation. I tried going back there about half a year or so ago and the sheer number of blockheads gave me an aneurism. "I don't care if its against the law I have a right to drink hyuck hyuck!!!111" :joe:

When I get personally frustrated with a thread, I just post one more time and then don't look back at it. It beats wasting your time with people who don't want to relent anyway, whether they are wrong or not.

Unfortunately, that's a subjective view affected by how anal the viewer is about the original and there's no standard for describing a film as "adaptation/based/inspired by", so Caveat Emptor.

Case in point: League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I liked it, but not for being an accurate rendering of LXG on film. *shrug*

:unsure: Yeah............ it was just a big semantic arguement, and he wants to pretend it was a conceptual arguement. Even though factual occurences support my case, he can just reley on a very simple statement that encompases the adaptation but doe sinclude real, actual details regarding the process... and it can seem as though I'm just ignoring the obvious. :rolleyes: But what the fuck was I supposed to be when he tries to argue with me for no reason, and with no case against mine?

The reason this wasn't noticed by the crowd is becasue it's far from the most ridiulous debate that's been seen. And usually debates involve only one guy making any sort of sense, and soem jackass like Beelzebozo stating opinions as fact.
