Who is this?
-
That chick from Legend of Korra that isn't Korra. I forget her name, but Beck will know.
-
Her name is bonerator and she bonerates boners.
-
^ lol!
That's Asami Sato from Legend of Korra. When you made that topic, I immediately thought of this pic of her which is one of her Book 2 designs.

Also, the actress that voices her is cute! Dat hat!

I'd hit that...many times...then sleep...then hit it again.
-
Like the fist of an angry god.
-
I didn't know godfists needed sleep.
-
Fun Fact: She also portrayed Princess Yue in the live-action The Last Airbender movie where she sports a penis hairstyle.

Just like Odin, of course they do.
-
Is it wrong that this is the Odin I immediately pictured?

I don't know what that is.
-
Duh, it's Odin. ::)
-
Uh...no, this is Odin.
-
Final Fantasy Odin is odd, but I like him. And he's a lot better than Shin Megami Tensei Odin:

Blech.

Looks like a villain that ran away from a Dragon Ball Z movie.

I was trying to think of why it seemed familiar.
-
masterrace odin reporting in
-
This one seems like he needs to poop.
-
I think he already did in his armor and he's not telling anyone.
-
You can't tell the All-Father he smells vaguely of shit.
-
I think he hates it when people call him Wodan.
-
Hey, hey, Google says the real Amelia Earhart turned 115 today. Apparently they found her. And she's a 115 years old.
-
Does anyone actually still cares about finding her bones? she's obviously dead by now, and if she wasn't before they would have found out about it already
-
Yeah, we wanna know where and how she died. Like if you were watching a movie about this pilot-character and at the end, as the pilot prepares to fly around the world, the film is all "she disappeared and was never found" and credits rolled. That would be a rip-off. Like, "what is this fucking movie?" We want the end to the movie that was this woman's life.

And the dragon ate her remains.
-
Ironically, the dragon couldn't fly.
-
I like to think she was abducted by aliens and then escaped and is flying cargo runs on a starship and having all kinds of crazy adventures a universe away.

I think there are a couple of movies out there with an ending like that....but I can't remember right now. Let me think about it and I'll get back at you
I'LL PROVE YOU WRONG!!
-

That would be awesome.
Excuse me while I go write some stuff.

lol, I was gonna reply "Write this NOW." That shit sounds awesome.
-
OK REMEMBERED ONE MOVIE:
BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
in yo face
-
But the movie-thing was just an analogy of why there was still interest in find Earhart's bones. Plus that was a horror film. The point of every other one of those is to leave things inconclusive.

I might. I never throw an idea away.
And I saw Blair Witch in the theater and everyone walked out pissed at that non-ending of that movie.
-
I thought it was decent for what it was. These kids investigated, kinda didn't believe, oops they died. So it had a plot arc. And the non-seen shit provides sufficient scares for me.
-
Oh I liked how they did the scares...I just wasn't down for that ending. I wanted to know more and didn't get it. I actually liked the fake doc that Sci-Fi channel ran about The Blair Witch to promote the movie, more then the movie it's self. I think it ended up on some of the DVDs, but I don't own the Blair Witch on DVD so I don't know for sure.
-
They did a Scooby Doo Blair Witch parody thing that was broken up into bite size segments that would air between shows on Cartoon Network back in the day that was pretty great.
Run-on sentence achieved.

What a career killer. No wonder she's doing voice acting.
-
She's a relatively new and young actor. Plenty of time to get into lots of things live action or otherwise.
-
Hey if Leprechaun didn't kill Jennifer Aniston's career, then this chick should be fine.
-
And I saw Blair Witch in the theater and everyone walked out pissed at that non-ending of that movie.
I don't believe that for one second.
I'm sure you walked out of that theater with your pants soiled
-
Not even close. I wasn't even sure the movie was over at first. I was waiting for the next scene to start after the end and it never came and I was like WTF. That's it? I was pissed...and to how how pissed I was about is that it is not in my DVD collection despite having seen in a five dollar bin a few times now.

I know no one who was actually frightened by this movie except girls who were in their teens at the time.
-
I remember hearing about this movie making people throw up, and I thought it was because of how gruesome it was, but in reality it was due to the incessantly jostling camera.
I saw it as part of a double feature along with Detroit Rock City at a drive-in of all places, believe it or not. I don't know, maybe you guys still have those, but I think this place was designed as an intentional throwback, and I doubt it's still around today.
-
Weren't all americans under the impression that this was a real recording? (when it first came out of course)
-
I want to say they deceitfully promoted it as such, but I can't remember.
-
No, you're right. They did.

We still have them, but they are few and far between.

Only the stupidest ones. Even the moderately unintelligent understood it was bullshit.
-
Yeah, and everybody thought Cloverfield was real, too.

Yep, totally.

OT, there's this:
Amelia Earhart to fly around the world, 77 years after namesake. (http://www.denverpost.com/entertainment/ci_26031135/amelia-earhart-fly-around-world-77-years-after) It's several days old and she's already well into her flight, but it's relevant. :D

Niiiice.
-
Did she disappear without a trace? Only way to properly honor her namesake.
-
Nope. She paid no such respect and made it: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/modern-amelia-earhart-soars-record-books-article-1.1867416

That bitch.
