Ms Kimoti said that if the 300kg hippo continued to thrive then in the next few weeks then they would allow the public to see the unlikely pair together before they are separated.

Those bastards.

It's not too surprising that they'd seperate them, I mean, the turtles like a century old, would you want to see the hippo cry when his terrapin mother dies?

Yeah, when he steps on her.
The turtle is quite a fair bit bigger than the turtle, for now.

Okay,

1) Referring to the MALE tortoise as a mother
2) Using ambiguous pronouns
3) Fiero's lapses in sanity

are making me confused.

Don't tortoises live up to or over 200 years of age?  I remember reading about one that was 212 years old as a kid in the Weekly Reader at school, and thinking it was older than the United States.

But separation anxiety aside, they'll be dining on turtle soup like Shredder always wanted to as soon as Owen sits on "Daddy".

I thought it would be the tortise cry when the hippo dies and then die itself of a heart attack.  Unless they get domestic with each other... those hippos are tough.

I think the foster mom is Sam.  That's why he's never here anymore.
