I HATE GOOGLE INSTANT. >:(
Carry on. :)
-
Why do you hate Google Instant?
-
Maybe because it lags like a bitch, and then sometimes you click on the box when it suddenly pops up and it fills in the search term and then you have to remove it cause it's never what you were actually trying to search for. That's why I don't like it, so it could be something along those lines.

I'm assuming your computer is dated Beck? Atleast Google makes it easy to turn off. I personally like it for the sole fact it often auto-corrects spelling for me--which is incredibly helpful, especially on my phone.

It has given me few problems.

My laptop which I use for 90% of my surfing isn't. On dated comps, it's a bitch. But of course no one gives a shit about other ppl's memory or bandwith anymore.

Merla's comp wouldn't even let me shut it off. On my comp, I keep having to shut it off. Over and over and over again. I think the only thing that may keep it off is to stay logged in but fuck that shit, I don't need Google tracking me anymore than it does already.

I just misspell it and let it show me the correct spelling at that time. I don't need to tell me nao, so this is a useless feature for me.
Also, I don't like results coming up for other shit. I want the opportunitiy to filter out my results without getting a bunch of shit I don't want. Ex. Typing in 'justin' and immediately getting a bunch of stupid results without being able to add "boots" -"bieber" -"timberlake". It just bothers me. I don't need some dumb-ass bot telling me what I'm searching for. If I don't find it, I'm too lazy to look right or it's not on the internet. It's like that "lucky"-ass button on the frontpage. I never use that shit either but at least it wasn't forced on me until now.

The new IE is oddly similar to Chrome.

Semi-related....
What the fuck is this? Really. Now, I've already mentioned that for whatever reason--possibly the age of the computers but I don't know--my computer at work that uses XP has a different Google News set-up than my laptop which is only a couple of years old. Well another difference is when I click a link for "More ____ Stories", I get a shitload of redundencies. What, are we playing fuckin' Old Maid? What is this shit?
-
No pr0n tabs this time?
-
Google Instant doesn't bother me in the least. But iGoogle? iGrowl.
The related stories thing you see on so many blogs these days bite. You click the link, it takes you to a page with a link to that story with other related links. You click on the thing a third time, and it's barely related, if at all, to what it was talking about. I can't believe it took me so long to catch on to the "banner ad money per hit" thing that's old as the online hills.
-
What gets me is that those links are not only the same subject, it's the exact same story right down to the publication. BALLS.
-
37$ for a honey badger t shirt?
GET FUCKED!
-
I would seriously punch someone in the face and steal the t shirt if they had the gall to say that to my face. They're lucky it's an online store.
