Yeah, so it's all late and shit but I was working Fri and Sat so I'm pretty much just celebrating it now.   :P

Yes, if you mean that I get a sweet Christmas bonus from his giant ol' money bin.

Still...working on Christmas, even for a shitload of money, is still working on Christmas.

I got a Color of Fear DC Universe 2-pack. Now I just need to buy two more so I will have the standard number of Karu-Sil's constructs. The extra figures can become other Yellow Lanterns.

You talk like I have something better to do.  I had already gathered with my family on Sunday for a fab cookie party.  That's better than any old Christmas.

Oh yeah I forgot you were Jewish and were having the traditional fab cookie party to mark the 16th day after the end of Hanukkah.

I don't celebrate Christmas, but I do celebrate annoying people who ask me how my Christmas was day.

Well I'm not particularly Christian either so I see no reason to celebrate Christmas all that much.  I don't see a point in gathering around some magic tree and exchanging trinkets on a certain day of the year unless you're a child.  And then it seems every other person I know sees fit to get Christmas-hammered, which especially makes no fucking sense to me at all.

Do you not understand the concept of "Any chance to wasted?" It's just an excuse to get pissed two weeks in a row.

Yeah, but who needs an excuse for that?

That's real fun for people that don't drink by the way.

And that tree is magical! If you don't bring in the green then the Great Father Odin won't bless you in the coming year. Everyone knows that.

Are they sick or something? I don't understand this sentence.

I wished you a Happy December 27th.  I'm special.

Yeah, really.  Drinkers can do that any time of the year.  Using Christmas as an excuse is just double-retarded.  Especially given its association with Jesus, children, miracles, and shit.

Most people do stuff like that "just 'cause".

Well, in some cases you are seeing a lot of old friends and family since they came back to town to visit and that makes for a lot more people thinking, "just cause," at once.

What happens when a baby gets jetlag?  Does she just cry and cry nonstop?

It would be funny if she just made an upset face for a really long time.

Step 1: put baby in crib.
Step 2: shut the door.
Step 3: stay out of room except for standard baby maintenance.

Step 1: she doesnt have a crib, she has a futon
Step 2: japanese doors are as thin as toilet paper
Step 3: we sleep in the same room

I've tried letting her cry till she calms herself but nope, she rather cry for an hour straight before stopping. aaaa

What happens when a baby gets jetlag?  Does she just cry and cry nonstop?

Not only does she wakes up 492924949 times a night (actually she has been doing that for a while) but she also stays awake. She's not doing that anymore but since she wakes up every half an hour or so I can't get good sleep! I'm going to age faster than expected :'(

I'm supposedly going to the Arab Emirates in a couple of months to visit my dad but right now I'm like FUCK NO. I dont want to go through this again so soon

At least I'm losing weight due to sleep deprivation.

Does she have a full futon or, like, a baby futon?
Title: Re: Merry X-Mas!
Post by: Faye Valentine on Jan 14, 2011, 10:10:08 AM
A "child "futon. Just a little smaller than a "twin" futon. But in the middle of the night I end up taking her into our futon cause it gets cold :3
I guess its like what you'd do with your cats lol I know I did that with my dog <3

My cats don't sleep in my bed unless they're freezing their hairy asses off.  And that doesn't really happen given the weather this far south.

I feel sorry for Molly, my Alsatian, but she's too big and hyper to stay in the house. Plus, the 18 degree nights give her an excuse to test her thick winter coat and insulated dog house.

Dude, when it gets 20-whatever here, we bring all of the cats inside (two live outside) and dumb Jorge just cries and cries to go outside.  And we're all, "no you crazy fucker, stay inside!"

All the previous dogs I had left and went to the barn, where the 20 year old hay is moldy but warm. Molly probably goes there, too, but she's too busy barking at the night to get cold, I guess. I thought German shepherds were supposed to be smart?

My animals just sleep where ever they want...if that's with me or on the couch is up to them.
