Title: Willy Wonka remake

Yet another post to flood this place (I counted 9 topics on the first page that I started)...

But this is the most frightening thing I have heard of yet.

Tim Burton is making a remake of Willy Wonka that's supposed to not be a musical and be more faithful to the book.

And he's casting Johnny Depp.

Now, Burton/Depp combos in the past have been pretty damn good, like Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, PotC (ok so Pirates wasn't a Burton film but it was one of Depp's best films so far).

And now this.

Ha ha, awesome.  I think Depp might've given people nightmares far before that get-up.  Everything post-"21 Jump Street" was just kinda weird really...

and charlie and the wonka elevator or however was called the 2nd book is awesome. johnny shouldnt be wonka tho, hes too young
