How come almost everytime someone does a post about a member that hasn't been here for a while, suddenly he/she appears and comments? Do they have email notification or something, or its just ESP?

He was here before I posted his birthday thread.  I had been waiting to post his birthday thread and was pretty surprised when I came by and realized he had come back just in time.

For toe's birthday thread, I actually linked it from Facebook.  No ESP needed there either.

Also, I've posted a few b-day threads where the person never comes by at all, like for Zero.  The board doesn't notify anyone to my knowledge.
