Whored from here. (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5560710/lindsay_lohan_news_video_lilo_sentenced.html?cat=17) I lifted the whole article because the site's all "see the video, hyuck" but they don't even have the vid on their site. <a href="feature=player_embedded">It's on AP's YouTube.[/url] Therefore, AC deserve no traffic and as little credit as possible. Prepare for hilarity:
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has just been handed a jail sentence, probation and rehab order after spending hours in court Tuesday. Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail by Judge Marsha Revel for violating the terms of various DUI and driving violation cases that have been haunting Lohan for years now.
Judge Marsha N. Revel handed down "30 days in jail on the recklass driving case, 30 days in jail on the first DUI case (consecutive), and 30 days in jail on the second DUI case (consecutive). That is 90 days in jail."
As the sentence was being read, Lindsay Lohan openly gasped and looked in shock to her attorney. Her emotions overcame her almost immediately upon processing the words "90 days in jail", and she was in a full fit of tears by the time the judge was done reading the formal sentence to the court.
Lindsay Lohan addressed the judge during the case, saying, "As far as I knew, I was being compliant with my program. I wasn't expecting any special treatment, except for the fact that I have to work. That was the only kind of special treatment they would give me, was trying to balance the schedules. I did the best I could." Lindsay Lohan then broke down in tears and had to struggle to regain compsure before continuing to speak.
Regarding missing certain drug and alcohol treatment program meetings, Lindsay Lohan said, "I was working mostly... I'm not taking this as a joke. This is my life, and my career. I 've tried to do the best I can. I was thinking it was OK that I missed those classes; had I known differently...I would have balanced my work around it." (See video on TMZ of Lindsay Lohan hearing her jail sentence in court Tuesday.)
Lindsay Lohan explained she sometimes made up several program classes in one week when in LA and then missed other weeks due to being out of the area for work. In tears, Lindsay said to Judge Marsha N. Revel, "I don't
want you to think that I don't respect you."
Judge Marsha Revel ordered that certain documents and records related to the case be sealed. Lindsay Lohan is expected to serve less than one third of her 90 day jail sentence, but will then have to surrender to a court ordered 90-day, in-patient rehab program. Formal probation will follow. Lindsay Lohan must turn herself in to begin her jail sentence on July 20.
In more interesting news as I have now reminded myself of Carmen Sandiego, Rockapella is still working although I think a couple of dudes may have been swapped. Anyway, color me impressed. http://www.rockapella.com/

It was all over the news today, but it's so banal I forgot about it until I saw this thread.
She looks really old for 23.

I'd be more shocked if she WASN'T in jail.
