Time to revive this monkey.
[Oh and it's normally not black in my taskbar, I'm using high contrast right now.]

Well my desktop that I had on my computer died along with my Hard Drive. It was a MOTU image from DA that I'll have to find again.
On this computer it is this image:

-
That reminds me of goatse. You know, if you rotate it and then make another one. Mirror that one and then kinda super-impose it. The earth is the anus.
-
Most people see a dog bone...but ok. Whatever floats your boat.
-
I don't own dogs. I do, however, happen to own an anus.
-
..........
No...no, that's too easy.
-
What is "you'd give them both a bone"??
-
Yeah that's pretty good. I think I was just going to say something like "Now that's something I'd like to bone." But yours works better. Thumbs up.
-
Would you have also accepted "they both need a pound"?
I think I was just going to say something like "Now that's something I'd like to bone."
W-wait, you want to bone the dog? Oh... oh my. :nono: Heavens no, sir. :fingershake:
-
What! No...I mean your anus.
Course if I can't sleep after that and I'm out of Peanut Butter.
-
What! No...I mean your anus.
Uranus.

Yes...I am going to make that gas giant say my name.
-
It can't talk. It has no mouth. Pluto on the other hand will squeal like a bitch. That's because Pluto is not a planet.
It's a dog. :fingershake:
-
I don't know. Escapeing gas could make a noise. Proably wouldn't sound like words. More like a fart. I'm sure. Proably stink too. That asshole planet farted on me during love making. That's a strange fetish.
-
I gots two: the first is my desktop (lots of icons, generic Windows bg), the second is my laptop (a fairly new OS install with Zune theme and 2010 Camaro convertible bg).
-
Awesome, back on topic. The Zune theme looks sweet. Why the generic bg for the first one? Is it a shared terminal or something?
Since I'm using my older HP right now, here's the screen for that one. I've been lax in my clean up so poor Gwendel's swimming in icons:

This is the wallpaper I was using before my comp up and died.
http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo261/8-2-B-4-9-5/big_steel_he_man_by_nebezial.jpg
I'll get a screen grab of my desktop when I'm up and running again so you nosey people can all see what programs I'm using.
-
That is awesome. Here's hoping there's more.
EDIT: YES. (http://nebezial.deviantart.com/art/she-ra-115867096)
-
Ah, man, got to show this to my buddy.
-
Wow, what great art. That guy's Ninja Turtles (http://nebezial.deviantart.com/art/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-121465691) are hardcore. With that MOTU art, I liked how everyone looks bad-ass but He-Man still looks a bit... effeminate. I was watching She-Ra the other day and never realized (duh!) that Adam's purple panties are fuzzy. Maybe he killed the Grimace?
-
I showed it my friend, he said, "I've already got these in high-res"
I said f u
-
Aw, pwned.
-
No good deed goes unpunished.
-
Wait..watching She-Ra? On like You Tube or do you have the box sets?
(Sorry dug this thread up to get the link to my Wallpaper.)
-
On Hulu.
-
Ah...I see.
-
Hulu's kinda shitty. With other services, I can usually load the vid and watch it later when I'm offline, but stupid Hulu just sits there and fingers its ass. I only saw three eps of She-Ra. It's better making fun of it with Merla but Merla doesn't have the time right now.
-
Riffing is always more fun with someone else.
-
Get one of those programs that downloads from sites like Hulu and watch them when you damn please.
-
Yeah...I got a couple of YouTube videos that way.
-
Rama, are you able to watch YouTube stuff? I can watch it now, but when I still had dial-up, I was able to and then earlier this year (or late last year) I wasn't anymore.
-
You know it's funny, sometime I can and sometimes I can't. It also depends on the browser. Like when I'm using 64 bit IE it doesn't work cause Adobe doesn't support it yet or I havn't been able to download it cause of my slow connection.
But I do know what you are talking about. You Tube use to be slow, but it worked...then awhile back it stopped working and gave me some error message when I tried. I don't know what that was all about.
-
For most sites, keepvid.com is your friend. Hulu doesn't work with it, though, so no downloading and keeping SNL Celebrity Jeopardy! skits to add to my collection.
Oh, and new desktop for my laptop! It's also sporting the Zune theme.

LOL Rama your desk top is so homo-erotic, i love it
-
Or it's He-Man. Who was homo-erotic.
-
Also.
It can be raep time now plz?
-
ok, bend over.
-
Not exactly what I was going for, but, eh, what the hell . . .
-
Suggestor receives. Sphere rules since 2001, the year of the Great Videl "Are You Bored NOW" Gang Bang.
-
My god . . . How could anyone do this?
-
uh... easily?
-
Go and prevent confusion in the city.
-
Changed my laptop desktop to Annie. Odd, but for some reason, when I switch in an out of high contrast mode, my desktop keeps changing to a similar, larger picture of Annie instead of the one I've chosen.
-
LOL Rama your desk top is so homo-erotic, i love it
I'm not seeing it.
-
Femmy He-Man with the S-man giving him a glowing come hither socket isn't homoerotic to you?
-
I don't think gay things like that. Ask IDE, though.
-
I don't think gay things like that.
Poo! Why not? :(
-
Homoeroticism is not at the top of my list. Only when spurred. Now I can see it, though. He-Man is forced to give up his anal virginity to spare the princess, and she is just disgusted as he is used by every monster as a cum catcher. The king makes him give up his sword after they frost him like a french apple pie.
-
That is so wrong...
Teela isn't a princess. She is captain of the guard.
Anyway I changed it a few days ago anyway after watching Dr. No. Here is what I am using now.
-
Back to that awesome He-Man mural, what's the deal with Triclops? Everyone else is doing their best to look menacing, but he's moping in the background apparently having a crisis of conscience. It's like he's seriously contemplating throwing Skeletor into the Death Star's reactor core.
-
I heard that Roger Moore was a potential for Dr. No.
-
Here's mine. Seasonal if a lil plain.
-
I heard that Roger Moore was a potential for Dr. No.
I think he was. Glad he didn't get it. Think it had something to do with The Saint.
Pierce Bronson was up for The Living Daylight too, but couldn't get of Remington Steel and so it went to Timothy Dalton.
-
Brosnon made a good Bond, but the writing of his first two made the movies. The thrid and fourth showcased his corniness, and made Daniel Craig's Bond a neccessity.
-
If Brosnan's Bond had been played more like his Remington Steele, he'd have been far better. And the same goes with Timothy Dalton...a potentially great Bond who was similarly wasted (favorite Dalton role to date was in The Rocketeer). I blame the directors. Books be damned...I want the debonair charming, one-liner-spouting, twinkle-in-the-eye interpretation back, dammit! This dour, pole-up-the-ass, glowering version we've been getting far too much of for the past twenty some-odd years is really old.
Oh, and the "From Russia with Love" background is awesome.
-
Pierce Bronson was up for The Living Daylight too, but couldn't get of Remington Steel and so it went to Timothy Dalton.
What?
-
He probably meant, "but couldn't get off Remington Steele". Brosnan was contractually obligated to the Remington Steele TV show at the time they were casting for the post-Moore Bond.
The funny thing is that Brosnan had been available and was approached, but the rumors that he would be Bond revitalized and thereby extended the Steele show, causing him to not be able to take the role.
-
I actually meant "Couldn't get OUT of Remington Steele" ,but same meaning. Fiero just likes to pick it apart when I make a typos or leave words out instead of just going by the context clues. I was so focused on making sure I spelled Remington right that I didn't notice I skipped over the word out. My brain moves faster then my fingers and I tend to leave words out from time to time.
-
No, this time I just really wasn't sure what you meant. I've decided to leave the grammar-mongering for those who really know what they're doing.
-
Well that's hardly anyone. There are very few that are actually qualified to do so, and none post here. I've seen typos, misspelled, and missing or mis-ordered words from everyone here at least once.
-
My point still stands
-
I'm just making an observation. Not really a counter-point per say.
-
Your next wallpaper should be Pierce Brosnan getting off on Remington Steele. Don't ask me how, just make that shit happen.
Well that's hardly anyone. There are very few that are actually qualified to do so, and none post here.
-
I'm a borderline grammar Nazi. Not that my own usage is perfect, but if someone can't be bothered to at least attempt to spell or punctuate correctly, my first impression of them is that they're an idiot.
-
I don't consider anyone an idiot just cause they may not be the best speller in the world. There is no doubt there is something that person will school you on. Now if someone is like using text message short hand on forums, that I consider rather idiotic, or if they say something supremely stupid. Never base it on something as narrow as spelling. Same guy that comes on and can't spell might also be the same guy that can do the mathematics on the gravity of a black hole. So I refuse to base it one something so narrow.
-
Wholly basing an impression on it, no. But spelling's important in establishing a level of communicative competence. I expect adults to write competently, otherwise I start to wonder about them. We're not writing theses here, but if I'm having trouble sounding out stuff, there's a problem.
I think we've all been to boards where people never discovered commas, for instance. (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/11/03/) Or experienced the inanity of the likes of tec (http://www.allspark.com/forums/index.php?showuser=246).
-
I abstain from posting with grammatical strictness only because most writers misuse grammar and get away with it. When I taught, I would bitch at the kids to adhere to writing rules. Then they read a book with incomplete sentences, improper clause structure, passive voice, etc.
Fuck the English.
-
I have yet to be edited for anything I have submitted. Course I go over it with a fine tooth comb, unlike here. Still one of two must have slipped through.
-
.
Anyway I changed it a few days ago anyway after watching Dr. No. Here is what I am using now.
LOL @ Rama from changing his background from gaylicious to closeted homo
