Guitar legend-inventor Les Paul dies at age 94 (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jBD78k8tewQ7FPeiKtJbK8QPmtzAD9A24BBO2)
All Les Pauls are to be turned in so they may be buried alive with their creator.

Considering how many people feel about those guitars, that grave had better have bunk beds.
-
This man should be respected not only for the Les Paul guitar, but for hard-body electric guitars PERIOD. Pretty smart guy.

Multi-track recording FTW. He is directly responsible for the recording industry as we know it. Plus, a darn fine picker. My mother was a fan of his in her younger days. And he had been playing weekly shows in a jazz hall for the past twelve years, so he's kept active at his craft.

Word! Everyone that has ever played a hard body electric guitar, which is pretty much everyone that plays, owes him big time.

Merla mentioned she had been to this board today. "So who's Les Paul?" :D
-
Tell her it was RuPaul's gay sister.

I should've. Boo, I had already told her who he was.
