A few things of note that also happened on the date of your birth:
2001 : Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise divorce.
2000: Confederate submarine H.L. Hunley is raised to the surface after 136 years on the ocean floor
1999: The final episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, “Danger: Diabolik”, airs on Sci-Fi channel ending it’s 11 year run.
1978: Odie makes his first appearance in the cartoon strip Garfield.
1974: US President Richard Nixon announces his resignation.
1963: The date of "The Great Train Robbery" in United Kingdom when thieves held up a train carrying the Royal Mail and stole 120 mail sacks , the mail sacks contained cash and gems valued in excess of 7 Million.
1930: Betty Boop premieres in the animated film "Dizzy Dishes".
and while I was looking up all that shit I found out that we were both born on Fridays.
So Chinese again this year or something different?

It's a good day to die.... :keelover:
Or to be born, I guess.
I refuse to call you Beck, it feels like I'm making fun of your name.
Have it legally changed to Nuriko, please.

Oh and if you get a cake and make a wish can you wish that the G.I.Joe movie will crash and burn so they won't make another one? I'll owe you big time.
-
Happy Birthday BECKs! :poo:
-
Huh, I was born on a Friday, as well.
Happy day to you, woman!
-
I read the spoilers about your birthday and it sounds like it's going to be good, but now I already know everything about it and there's no point in reading your post.
-
:happybirthday:

Thank you, everyone. 8)

Aw shit, I knew I forgot something! Here's my cake attached below. It was lemon. It's supposed to be a fishie.
I went over to my dad's and got back a few hours ago. He has internet, but he's inept and can't retrieve the network key for me, so I have to use his computers to connect to it, which is a pain in the ass and I'd rather not do it. My camera also decided to shit out on me. I hope to get Chinese tomorrow. (Well, today, but... you know what I mean.)

For some reason I see Pacman with a hideous growth.
-
Who made that cake? It looks simple, but someone put a lot of time into that. And used the proper tools too.

I see Pac Man, too, actually.

Technically my dad baked it and assisted me with cutting it, but I did the decoration. Plastic star tip, another plain tip, pastry bag, spatula, knife, and water are all I used. The frosting all came in those colors-- lemon, strawberry, butter cream, and store-bought blue. I actually made Merla a strawberry pink owl cake last year. I thought I had put a picture online but now I don't remember.
I think I could've done a better fish because my dad and Merla were telling me--when the cake was still naked--that they saw the fin at the bottom as a top fin. I probably could've gone with that concept and drawn a fin at the side. Also, if you look at it with the head at the bottom and the tail Pac Man part at the top, Merla says it looks like a cat with the fin being the tail.

Yeah you can tell the icing came from a bag with tip just by how it was applied. Never had the patients for that myself. But one shouldn't make their own Birthday cake...that's just not right. Or decorate it in your case.
-
I however support making your own cake and also buying your own gifts, it assures you get what you want.
Birthdays are so usually riddled with disappointment otherwise.

What it should have been.
-
NooooOOOOoooo.
I wanted to decorate my own cake. I've had enough birthdays with cakes I didn't care for. About 10 or so years ago, I did a cake of a bird. All of my favorite cakes ever have been my own-- as far as decoration goes.
-
I think it's cute that she decorates her own birthday cake.
I can't remember the last time I had a cake.
I just go about business as usual and hope no one notices my birthday so I can go on being the same age for another year.
-
I'm more of a pie man đan a cake man, but đat's one fine looking cake.
Is đere any left?
-
It's a Pokecake!
Happy Birthday!!!! :bernie:
-
Bernie! :D
And there's one little piece left. We left a good amount at my dad's house so we wouldn't make pigs of ourselves.
-
May I have it?
-
Sure, if you can beat Schmoo to it.
-
Can I beat Schmoo for it? :guitar:
Merry belated birthmas.
-
Thank you, Sabatiano.
And Schmoo ate it a few hours ago.
