Title: John Hughes deadsies.
Post by: B E C K on Aug 06, 2009, 07:28:35 PM
Boo hoo.  :nurinono:  I wanted Special Editions of all of his stuff with commentaries.  I know Ferris Bueller has one, but I don't know about the rest.  Some Kind of Wonderful sure as hell deserved one.

Director John Hughes dies of heart attack, age 59 (http://www.reuters.com/article/mediaNews/idUSN0635330920090806)

On the bright side, the latest release of Ferris Bueller didn't have the commentary I believe.  Maybe it'll get another release where they put it back on.  And maybe 16 Candles will get the original soundtrack back.

Wa..Wa...What....? ;___;

Ferris Bueller and Breakfast Club are like two of the movies that most define the 80s for me.

He should be buried in Shermer Ill. I know it doesn't really exist, but it would be fitting.

Wherever he's buried should be designated as shermer.

Yeah.

Man, he wasn't even 60 though.  Talk about checking out kinda early.

Aww shit. I saw them talking about him and his movies in past tense this morning, but I didn't want to think the worst.

Man, this is the worst news ever...

"You have advanced Mad Cow disease" would be much, much worse.

But that would be good for us. This is just bad for everyone.

Not really. He finished making movies, so we miss nothing. He was fat and relaxing, waiting for death. God have him what he wanted.

But we can agree that D getting an Advanced Case of Mad Cow would be a good thing?
