It's been nice up here. For the longest time, it was 65-75 and rainy. Now it's in the 80s with mix between sun and clouds.

It's been unsually cool here all summer. We really only had one week where it even got close to 100. Which is odd. Only got up to like 76 today. And it's been a really wet summer too. If it's not raining it's been humid.

For us here, in Wisconsin, it's been below average temperatures and precipitation šis summer.  Še former I'm A-OK with, še latter kinda sucks šough.

Why, how does rain really prevent anything?

It prevents you from staying dry.

Ponchos and umbrellas solve that.

Well I may have spoke too soon. It's sudden back up in  the 90s, which is pretty normal for this time of year. Although, again very humid and it's suppose to rain.

Ponchos and umbrellas solve that.

Those things are gross.

You have a very odd definition of gross.

They can smell kinda funny. Don't know if I would call that gross, but it's not a good smell either.

I love ponchos.

For a second I read "I love pouches."  Hehehe  Reminds me of this article I read years ago about men who like pouches.

This thread reminds of when Beck was kid (around 9 or so) and she went to water park with family and returned RED AS A FREAKEN LOBSTER!  She was a lobster girl.  God it hurt my eyes to even look at her.  I can still recall it vividly after all these years.

Once you get them wet, it's a bitch to find a spot to dry them.  Eh, I didn't mean "gross" as much as "irritating".  And ponchos are kinda retarded.  Sorry, Clint.  I love rain though.  I'd rather not use umbrellas at all.

I don't think I've ever used a poncho in my life. I pretty much just stand under umbrellas if someone else is using one. If I'm by myself I don't bother. I don't mind the rain. I wouldn't say I like to be wet and cold, but there is noting more relaxing then sleeping with window open during a summer rain shower. I think it's the smell that does it, but the sound also helps.

I love rain but it makes me nervous because back where we lived circa '94 - around '04, everytime it rained, the powet went out.  So now I associate rain with blackouts and my computer/word processor shutting off and losing my work.  Never mind that the powet has rarely gone out here and I now have a decent laptop with great battery life imo.

And I'm reminded, we were robbed back in, what, '04?  It's in the threads here somewhere.  I didn't even realize until years later that they stole my old word processor.  They stole old greenie!  :(  I don't think I had many things saved on it.  I don't even think I was able to save anything without a diskette and I think I may have had the foresight to take out all of the disks before I packed it because I still have the boot disc thingy and I always kept that one in the five disk storage slot.  I was looking for a pic but don't remember the model number or anything.  It was reminiscent to the pic below except it was a nice dark grey, had a larger flatter screen, a gap to store 5 disks, the disk slot was vertical, and it had the ass of a typewriter.  It was a heavy thing, but less bulky than the thing below and had a slicker keyboard.

Maybe the poor ass retard who robbed you thought it was the latest in computer technology.
Most of the people who commit robberies like that don't even know how to use a computer, let alone own one, so he thought it was something he could surf for pr0n on.

Also, it's been cool and 70s around here, with the eception of occasional hot and sticky days.

Did I make a post about how I left a cup of vomit on the sidewalk and it vanished the next day?

Cause it did.

Are you sure someone didn't just throw it in the trash?  If you left it at an establishment, most of the time the employees have to go outside before and/or after hours and clean that shit up.

No this was in the middle of a residential area.

Someone is conducting experiments with my puke!

It does have your DNA in it. You know they bag up the Preisdents poop and puke and bring it all back to the states to be destroyed when he goes overseas cause people can use it to look at his DNA and find out stuff about him. True story.

Well, you know, if you leave a cup of puke on my sidewalk, I'm gonna clean that shit up.

If I had a sidewalk and someone did... I'd just hit it with the hose and let God decide.
