In light of the Obama thing (http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/editorial_opinion/outofline/2009/02/how_phony_is_shepard_fairey.html), I started looking this guy up. Interesting read. The Wal-Mart thing with the gestapo skulls was funny.

He sounds like he's anti-authority, so he probably doesn't give a shit about plagiarism either way.
-
Anti-authority my ass. He sounds like he's pro-making a lot of money and fuck any other artists he has to rip off to do it.
There's no artistic talent. There's no social message. There's "Oh, that design would look good on a t-shirt or on some shitty merchandise, I bet people will buy it."
-
If he's profiteering off this shit and the people that created the original works aren't receiving a dime then that's fucked up.
-
But common as hell.
-
I love how Obama is doing nothing to fix things, has OKed torture, is pandering to conservatives, and might keep open Gitmo. Take that, psuedo-liberals.
-
But he died for our sins!!!!!
-
I think Tom clicked on the wrong topic.
-
Well it was semi-related to Obama so maybe not.
-
I think it's a knee jerk reaction with him whenever someone says Obama.
-
No, it's further proof how phoney the ideal of Obama is. Even his Che-esque image is from a plagiarist. The whole thing is just frustrating, psuedo-liberal hope attached to popular culture.
-
I don't think the fact that the dude that made his poster is kind of a douchebag has very much effect on his ability to govern.
-
It has everything to do with contributing to his election and thus allows him to govern. It also reflects American gullibility in the same way the Conservatives voted Bush in, yet he did nothing conservative. I love how this same ass also stole a nazi-skull and put it on a tshirt without knowing it was a Nazi skull, which prompted Wal-Mart to steal his design and thus seed Rural America with SS-Skull t-shirts.
This guy is a virus.
-
I think Wal-mart should've ran a commercial full of Wal-mart employees goosesteppin'. That would be the shit.
-
ICH BEN EIN LOWER PRICES!!!
-
And that Wal-Mart smiley dude could've been sportin' a Hitler stache.
-
I don't know if the associates at my local store are corridnated enough to goose step.
-
They will be the first to go to the ove- I mean, workforce training camps. In Trebylinka. Ignore the smokestacks.
