Starting this thread for two reasons. One, I'm just curious and find you can learn alot about people by the way they answer these kinds of questions.
and two to just have something new on the forum. I mean this place is so dead....
Crowd: How dead is it?
...this place is so dead that it's a shoe in for a best supporting actor Oscar.
Anyway, Just name one place you've always wanted to vist and one place you'd like to live (and it can't be where you currently live.)
You'll note I havn't posted mine and it's cause I havn't narrowed it down to one each yet.

Visit: Ireland
Live: Hawaii
No elaboration!

Ok...Thought about it some, and I have to say my pick for vist would be Savannah, Georgia. I thought about someplace overseas like the land of my ansectors Scottland or maybe Egypt. Then I thought well I should see the places I want to see right here before I got overseas. I picked Savannah cause it's an old city and has lots of history. It's a pretty city, and it's also one of the most haunted cities in America. All this stuff adds up to a good vacation for me.
For live..I picked Austin, Texas. I think I've actually said I'd like to live there before. Mainly I picked Texas cause I wanted to move somplace where I didn't have to endure the cold winters anymore, but somplace that was in the middle of a desert, or constantly getting hit by hurricanes, or earthquakes, or Volcanios. After I did all that I was kinda left with Texas. The reason I picked Austin is just for it's motto. "Keep Austin Werid." any place that would say that about themselves is ok in my book. Course I've never been and I'd like to vist and see what the place is like before packing up and moving there sight unseen.

I want to visit tokyo and live in LA.
-
Visit: Italy
Live: Washington State
-
Live: San Fransisco area.
Visit: Dozens of dozens of places I've never been to. Vegas, Yellowstone, New York City, Disneyworld, Paris (the Louvre, Versalles, Eiffel), London, Cairo, Istanbul, Japan (Tokyo, other parts of the country), Australia, Hawaii, Rome, Athens, Bavaria, castle Neuschwanstein, the Redwood forests, the Grand Canyon....
-
And yes this place is dead. See what happens when you take away my thread creating abilities?
-
Live: I'll say the Seattle area. My sister's out there now and loves it. Since we tend to have fairly similar tastes, I'd probably enjoy it too. The whole area is way too liberal for me, but I could deal with that.
Visit: Narrowing it to just one place? I'll have to go with New Zealand. I know more people in Australia, but the natural beauty of the land of the kiwis sort of trumps that.
-
Visit: Fiji
Live: Peru :-(

Meh, I'll take it.
Visit: Europe! (It's a place. I'd like to see most of it.)
Live: Portland, Oregon. But I like it here in South Texas. Winter is around 30 degrees. Hawaii sounds good, too. I'll hitch a ride in joe's luggage.
-
Psht, you can't say "Europe" as if it's one homogonized place. Details, woman!
-
Yeah I have to agree with Sam here. That's kinda vague.
If I had was to leave the states to visit someplace it'd be Scotland. My family is from there, but I would also try to swing down and hit London town as well. That or Jamaica, always wanted to see the place. Too expensive to live there, but I'd like to visit.
-
Too bad! Vague wins. I want a tour. Barcelona, Paris, London, Dublin, Rome, Venice, Stockholm, and undecided cities in Germany and Greece. I want to take trains and shit and see pretty snow-capped mountains and not be anywhere for longer than three days and only have two bags with me. That would be the shit. Quickie Europe.
-
Even at three days at each place (And someplace like Rome and Paris would need more then three days) you are still talking over a month there. That could be expensive.

Quckie Europe sounds like a one-night-stand with Euorpe. Where the next morning he's gone and there's cab money on the end table.
-
I need to get back to europe asap. I'll go back packing and every time I enter a new country I'll lower my age by a year.

Then I better start making some money. :(
-
Well maybe you should just become super rich and take like a whole half year and do it right.
-
I'll go with you for part of it. I've always wanted to back to France again.
-
Oui oui!
-
Ew, don't do that in this thread. Great, now it smells like amonia.
-
I'm not sorry.

It's your fault for sitting in the Splash Zone. Just like at Sea World.
-
Where's the signs!?
-
Visit: Germany. I really want to get stationed there when I finish school, though it probably won't happen. Still.
Live: Sounds lame, but Wichita, KS. I miss that place so much, and I'm not gonna see it again until at least August.
-
Where's the signs!?
Signs are for sissies.
-
Then I'm just a piss-soaked sissy. I should be getting paid for this.
-
Well I've been filming it.
-
Big surprise.

Aww you and me were the only ones who chose our home for "a place to live"
I was tihnking about moving to Fiji, but they allow you to only stay there for 3 years. bull crap/
-
Big surprise.
What is a surprise, however, is how low the sell throughs have been. I think you may have been phoning your soaking in. Next time put a little more into your preformance.
-
...fine, but only because it's artfully done.
*cries softly*
