HURRICANE PARTY!!! WHOO!!!
-
I kept wanting to laugh every time the news mentioned Florida and Fay. I keep picturing it "Hurricane Faye", bringing her flat, pierced tummy and Peruvian hammer of justice upon you all.
-
I'm sure it'll stagger left...then right...and then left again, but it'll get where it's going.
-
:lmao:
-
speaking of, where is faye?
coincidence? i think not.
-
They canceled my physical therapy cause of this crap. Which means I'll be trapped here that much longer. DAMN YOU, FAY indeed.
-
I thought the Tom/Faye brouha was over. I'm trying to get a $6 million vacation home policy written on a barrier island - KNOCK IT OFF, YOU TWO!!! :goddammit:
-

Didn't she say something about going on vacation?

Yeah it is. She admitted she would sleep with him given the chance and all was cool after that. LOL.
-
She did?
Where was I when this was decided?! I think my voice should have been taken into account. :( I don't want to get a disease...
-
TomDerrick said something she didn't approve of and then Faye said something to the effect of too bad, just when I was thinking about sleeping with you.
Anything written about sex need only be read once and I will remember it. That's my mutant powet.

I sailed my car home tonight on a flooded freeway. The natives being a swarthy people with little to no knowledge of Ulmo and Osse were mainly off the roads cowering in their hovels. I however, the blood of the land of the star coursing mightily through my veins, was not daunted by the powerful rain and wind. At one point the car was hydroplaning as I went up a slight hill and I didn't even miss a beat in fact I noticed that "Rock you like Hurricane" was playing on the radio and turned it up to the max. A lesser road mariner would have applied the breaks and sent his vehicle careening into the concrete side barrier, but I knew that I needed to just maintain my speed and do some elite micro steering with my left hand while my right hand was held back and high as if riding a bull. Then I let out out a manly roar as I crested the hill and went hydroplaning down the other side.
-
I moved my car to higher ground for the night, protected from wind and rain in the safety of a concrete fortress. Nothing fucks with my baby.
-
Till the night you come home early and catch a Volkswagon mounting her from behind.
-
And her honking "Fahvernugen!!!"
Edouard was a huge non-event, but I was just as glad to stay home. Drivers here are stunned enough by ordinary rain - throw some wind in there and it's like being in on a go-cart track with a bunch of little kids. :o

I love how this guy can take the most ordinary event, like riding down a freeway with 4 inches of standing water, and make it sound epic. You're in the wrong profession. Forget acting, you should be writing fantasy novels.
-
IDE could have a bright future as a TV weatherman in Houston - this is what some of the Edouard coverage sounded like.
-
They said, "watch out, Meridian!" on the Weather Channel tonight.
Which is great, since I have to be at the radio station at 6AM in the morning. So, if I make it there, I'll get to read off weather alerts the whole time I'm there.

IT'S RAININ' SIDEWAYS!!!

It's funny you say that because my best friend was recently offered a job at Blizzard Entertainment:
Basically I'd be their development executive on all of blizzard's comic book, novel, and magna properties and also get to pitch my own ideas for stories including after 6months being able to be a story point person on all their games.
He called me up and told me about it and said how he'd like to bring me in eventually too if he took the job. I immediately linked him to pics of girls who play WoW and told him he'd be a living god to these sexy nerd girls.
So basically me writing fantasy novels, comics, or video game plots is not out the window at this point...still I'd rather be in the upcoming WoW movie than write at this point.
-
Write yourself in it? I've never heard of these Blizzard people. Ah, n/m. Google be my friend.
-
Yeah it is. She admitted she would sleep with him given the chance and all was cool after that. LOL.
Haaa no! i said he looked hot in a pic but then i think on the same post i said that maybe i should look at it when i wasn't drunk.
i think. i don't remember.
-
Bitch, you wish you could have this.
-
It went down the way I said it did. It was the classic "I was going to give you _____ but since you did _____ now you're not gonna get ______" (but I never had any intention of giving it to you in the first place)" maneuver.
-
agree to disagree
-
Beck Shipley patented 13th page bump! Shit, I want a Shipley's donut. Covered with chocolate!
-
I'm not going to dignify your bump with a response in this thread.
-
Where's my doughnut!? OMG, I could kill one of you for it. Yessssss. ONE. OF. YOU.
-
Couldn't one of us just get you a doughnut? Then you won't have to kill anyone.
-
I nominate joe. He's farther away so the journey'll mean more.
-
Oh...well we just go back to the killing thing then.
-
No, no, you already got me onto the idea of gettin' a cold Canadian donut.
-
Hahaha. That reminds me.
I was watching TV at a family gathering when this Furry Vengeance commercial comes on. When it's over, my uncle, who I thought was asleep on the couch just shakes his head in disgust and says, "Brendan Fraser SUCKS."
Never had anything so obvious been so hilarious to me.
By the way, that donut looks chocolate. I'm gonna eat that donut. I'm gonna eat Beck's chocolate donut.
-
I'm gonna eat your chocolate donut. It'll be chocolate donut 69. I'm bringing my own milk tho'. I only drink skim.

I LOL'ed reading that.
-
You better like mint chocolate then, because that's what I'm packing.
I'm not even sure what that means, myself, but be prepared.
-
I love mint chocolate! Especially when it has a bit of a crunch in it, you know?
-
Aww, dude! Are you talking about nuts? You want that nutty crunch?
I got that.
-
Not too much, just a little! Don't hurt my teeth! My teeth are very sensitive!
-
Ew, really? Are they all yellow and soft? And the ones that aren't yellow are black? And the black ones have green stink lines emanating from the cavities?
Yucko.
-
No, I'm just phobic about shit happening to my teeth. Also, I've been grinding them. :(
-
Oh good, can I post in this thread again now?
-
Who are you again? Mystic, was it?
-
I'm just wondering if I should use my powers of invisibility for good.
I probably wont. I'll probably use it to steal stuff.
-
Like Harry Potter. Good plan.
-
Yeah I'm gonna steal Snape's underpants.
-
Even better plan.
-
Better start practicing my "Skidmarkremoveaoso" spell though. Just in case.
-
Why? It's a g-string. Or so I've heard.
-
Then I just won't have to learn it very well.
-
Just lick it off.
-
You know I don't think I like this change lately....first you try to get me to drink your pee and now you want me to lick Snape's poo line.
-
You need to learn to be more open to trying new things.
-
Hey, are you guys excited about Deathly Hallows? I read an article in EW tonight and it was all tearjerky, pulling on your heartstrings, this is the end my only friend the end, and shit. Got me all nostalgic for Potter.
Oh, and Halfblood Prince was on TV last night too, caught the end of that. I had totally forgotten about the whole tacked on, "Yes, I am the Halfblood Prince!" revelation at the end. Haha! So bad.
-
I think I'm more excited that the Potter business will finally be over with than anything else. I liked the earlier movies the best and it's just been one long, painful trip downhill ever since #5.
-
Do you think years from now Rowling will go all greedy-Lucas and do a new series that follows the exploits of their kids?
I can see it, man. I can see it.
And I would almost welcome it.
-
No way.
Smerla and I want to see an animated series that covers the entirety of Books 1 - 7. If I see anything different, I want to see something that happens to other characters in the books as adults. No Harry Potter: TNG.
-
Oh man. Like a word for word adaptation? Maybe even extrapolating on some areas? Cool.
It would have to be American-made though. Well, you know what I mean, obviously it would still be drawn by Koreans.
But not anime. Not fucking anime.
-
I wouldn't mind fake-anime like Avatar or something.
-
You need to learn to be more open to trying new things.
I don't think I'm gonna start with drinking your pee. We have to work up to that.
-
We're not gonna work up to anything. The best I can do is offer you some ice. Crushed or cubes?
-
Uh...no.
-
Here, I'll just stick 'em in your soda. Ignore their suspcious yellow tinge.
-
I don't drink soda anymore.
-
Then.... why is that cup fizzing?
-
Because you put Alka-Seltzer in your piss.
-
That's what I thought I did.
-
You know this stuff is like a week old by this point...
-
It ages like fine wine. Fine, yellow, uriney wine.
-
Well then we should put it in a bottle and stick in the basement for 50 years. It'll be really good by then, and I can drink it then.
-
Going back and hitting some of the topics from earlier in this thread:
- Props to IDE, again, for the Tolkein references.
- I thought Brendan Frasier was good as Ben on Scrubs. And in Bedazzled. Those are honestly the only two things I can remember seeing him in.
- Goblet of Fire was certainly the best book of the series, and the second best movie after Prisoner. I suppose I should get the last book from my little sister and read it before the movies come out. Having been made to read the others, I feel I need to sit through one last volume of Rawling's tiresome prose to avoid leaving things unfinished.
- I never get tired of giving Beck an owl pellet to break up the palindrome.
-
Why dont you give me one? i thought we were friends :(
-
Bedazzled was pretty awesome. Oh Liz Hurley, why didn't you come out in more funny shit like that? I would've been totally down for a sequel, too.
-
Why dont you give me one? i thought we were friends :(
You have plenty. Don't be greedy.
-
:-(
-
I gave you one, but it felt wrong because I thought you had one of those number things going on.
-
+1 to Fifi
-
What
-
Huh?
-
Eh?
-
+1 to Fifi.
-
Ohhhh. Okay, cool with me.
-
+1 to Fifi. He's on a roll.
-
wtffff this is a conspiracy
-
+1 to Fifi, the Conspiracy Master.
-
Take that people who don't like conspiracies.
-
Yeah, take that, Merla!
