Not having cable, I found this out secondhand. Fuck, now I have a reason for gettting cable or sat. Death Note is well worth watching!

Also, what the hell is this Ben-10 and why is it played more than Death Note?

Might have something to do with the fact that it is popular among Cartoon Network's main audience. You know....kids. Death Note...not so much. Be happy you get to see it all. Before AS something like would have never been shown on CN.

Ben 10 is retarded because the device that the show is all about is a piece of crap.  For earth adventures its a fine little gimmick.  But the show has taken the intergalactic pirate route.  And theres just no reason for that gilgax guy to really want the omnitrix.  He could just as easily recruit a member of each of the 10 species of alien since they're not uncommon in space.  For all the supposed awesomeness of that omintrix all it really does is turn you into a different race, a race that is not unique or special in the Ben 10 universe.  On the galactic level its the same as me having a watch that turns me into black guy.

I don't have cable either and I knew this before it even premiered.  Don't act like you have no internet access either.  And Ben 10 is in it's sequel series.  This is like the third year it's been on the air.  Go out and read something sometime.  Sheesh.

And I've seen half a Ben 10 ep a while back and agree w/ IDE on its shit quotient.

I'm not even gonna bother with Death Note on Netflix.  Nothing but "Long Wait"s on those and there's only two discs right now.  Best to pick other things to watch and come back to Death Note when there's more discs out and less of a wait.  I just added it to my queue and threw it in the middle somewhere so I don't forget about it.

I saw the first couple episodes of that show, but it just didn't hook me. I can't really say it was bad, or that I even didn't like it. Thought it was pretty good in fact. It just didn't keep me coming back week after week.

Strange seeing Eddie Izzard not in drag though.
