It came out on PBS this Sunday. It was win. It starred Harry Potter as Rudyard Kipling's son John ("Jack"). He smokes, he drinks, shoots shit, and gets shot to death. (And he doesn't get naked again, thank god.) Samantha from Sex in the City played his mom. The guy playing Kipling (David Haig) was really good in it. To this day, I don't think they've officially found John Kipling's body.

Ah so that's what happened to Kipling's body.
-
I saw that! It was awesome!

And I found a vhs converter for my old school analogue video tapes of myself. I have to say I gave a stunning performance railing these 2 chicks. The first one didn't know she was being taped. The 2nd one actually saw the camera and asked if she was being taped...
I was so wasted I replied "yeshhh..."
And she smiled at the camera. Unfortunately my dumbass friend recorded over that part when he was high. I don't think I'll ever forgive him for that.
That's so Sex and the City of you.

I missed it *emo tear*

IDE: As far as I'm concerned, Rama saved your ass in this thread. You and your sexploits of Christmas Past have nothing to do with anything. Start your own fucking topic.
D: If you're so inclined, you can stick it in your Netflix queue. I don't remember the day it releases though.

I will strive to stay on topic at all times hence forth and advise others to do the same.

I watched another good PBS series last week, called "Carrier". It's a reality show about life on the USS Nimitz. Each episode focuses on some aspect, from religious beliefs, everyday life, how they feel about the war, cooks, pilots, the bridge crew, an insubordinate crewmember, trying to land a F-14 on a heaving deck, ect.

Bah, everything strays off-topic. Doing it in the first fucking reply before a conversation can even start is just inexcusable. It was so easy for you to start your own topic. Come on now.
I was so uninterested in that "Carrier" thing. And then by the time they got to another Masterpiece theater I wanted to watch, I couldn't spare the time. =(
-
I'm not to big on Carrier either. I usually only watch the PBS for the Documentries. I just watched on the other night about the Holocaust.
That and Teletubies.
-
Those things still come out on PBS?
-
As is Barney. But they may as well rename Seasme Street "The Elmo is an annoying Douchebag show staring Elmo and if you are lucky Big Bird talking to Elmo."
-
Oh well, British shit and the occasional Austin City Limits are all I watch PBS for so I wouldn't know. I tried watching SS for nostalgia's sake but gave up after I could feel my brain dying. It was only later that I realized I never watched SS all that much when I was a kid anyway.
-
Still can't believe they yanked Red Dwarf, and no one else has picked that up. They have Doctor Who, which if I did watch it, I could see there, on BBC America, and Sci-Fi.
At least Top Gear is back.

I wonder if this'll come out on Video, My Boy Jack....
-
Holy shit, I was channel-surfing the other day and there it was: Barney! I forget what happened exactly except for the fact that they're completely neutering our youth. Something about the kid's ball going into the street and no one went to go get it because it was dangerous!!!~!111e32rfkelfgl,vc

Haha, Miina won't let the brat watch Barney at all. He's allowed to watch everything until Barney comes on, but the TV goes off as soon as they announce it. She's gotten him saying "Aiti's scared of Barney" and "Barney makes your butt hurt."
-
Good lord, you just made me picture Barney wearing a strap-on.
