Had brunch at Village Inn. Mmmm french toast and hashbrowns. Boyfriend came with, met my grandma and actually talked to my mom and bro. He hasn't had an official gathering with my family. Rented two games for Wii (We has one now). Chilling at his house now, then we're going to my house for dinner later. Word.

The girl I like is probably going to drop me soon...and now I'm listening to what I think is Matt Damon voicing an animated horse...Happy Easter indeed.
-
I was supposed to go to my aunt and uncle's house but bailed last minute and spent it like every other Sunday. My deviled eggs went tho'.
-
I spent the day with bro, sis-in-law and nephew. We played outside all day and had a really big dinner. Then my dad came home and I got to help move a gorgeous dresser into my room, and learned that my paternal grandparents don't hate us after all and I might actually get birthday hugs from them this year. Best Easter ever.

Church with the family, then a lunch of Easter ham, then back to my apartment to do 4 hours of work.
-
I didn't do shit.
Same as all the Easter that came before it, and all the Easters that will come after it.

Your name tricked me into thinking you were Jewish. What kind of work?
-
Nope, 100% Catholic. I was constructing a claims chart for some possible litigation.
-
Aw, you were so nice about it. You could've been all, "girl, how many years we been talking?11w;sd what u mean jewish!" and do that little head-bob/finger-wag combo thing that tells people you mean biz-ness. Then I would've gone to my secret place, ate a sandwich, and cried.
-
Well I can understand where you would think I was Jewish. I do have the same name as the last of the ruling judges.
Plus I'm pretty covetous.
-
You're funny enough and your old picture looked a little israeili-ish.

Samuel Finkelstein.

Easter to me always meant nasty drugstore candy, hard-boiled eggs snuck into dinner for the next week :puke: and new patent-leather shoes that the Geneva Convention would outlaw as cruel and unusual. My friend Sabra, on the other hand, would get the most unbelievable apple cake for Passover. Her mom invited me over for apple cake until they moved out of state - then I would get my own by mail, or when Sabra goes to visit. I'll be watching for the FedEx dude around April 18th!

The day after Easter is better - Dove dark chocolate eggs for $.50 a bag. <3

Didn't do shit until night. I went to have dinner with a friend, then we came back to my place and watched Sex and the City

shit I was just at target and didn't get in on any of that...probably for the best though, but still.

I bought three boxes of Cadbury eggs. One each of the normal ones, the caramel ones, and the new orange creme ones.
-
I love Cadbury Eggs.
-
I didn't get any this year. I almost bought one, but figured I didn't really need it.
-
You were incorrect.
-
I missed orange creme??!!

You were incorrect.
Funny, I don't feel those pangs of deep regret.
