OK, so what the FUCK was going on between her and MIchael Bate? Was he trying to get with her or something? I def felt some sexual chemistry in between them! so sinful and yet hot!

I haven't seen it yet.  I've begun to harbor an unnatural hatred for young movie stars.

That girl is not THAT young. She's like 25 I think

I thought she was like 22.

I've seen it and I really liked it.  Do you mean sexual chemistry between the characters or the actual actors?  I know in the movie he really wanted to be with her but she pushed him away.

YEAH THAT! like in the movie. The old guy with the 16 year old pregnant girl? fucked up. I just wanted to know if I was exaggerating it or if someone else felt that too

I was going to see Juno but then it just exploded and became too overhyped for me to care.  I didn't want to see an unwed preggo that badly anyway.  And the sample I heard of the soundtrack sounded like pure ass.

O definitely. I don't know ANY of the songs from that movie.

Ooh, you mean the older guy who was married to Jennifer Gardner?  Yea, that was creepy.  I was thinking of her "boyfriend" type thing.  Who'd want to have sex with a preggo 16 year old?

Hey, where has Doug been?

Shhhhhhhh.....don't say his name.

If I say it three times in a mirror, will he appear and try to shoot me?

only if you were 14 and not with a gun

And in furry clothes.

Yeah, I meant the old guy, Michael Bates. CREEPY but he's hot. I think she was attracted to him too!

Shit, I think his name is Jason Bateman, so far off

I liked it quite a bit.  Soundtrack too.

O definitely. I don't know ANY of the songs from that movie.

I knew about half of them, since its all off-the-shelf stuff.  Hell, I have the Sonic Youth, Cat Power, and Velvet Underground albums already.  Isn't it better when you don't know songs?  I'll bring my iPod if I want to only listen to old songs during a movie.

I finally saw this.  I really hated most of the music.  I had to mute the credits because it was practically torture.  If I saw this in the theater, it might've marked one of the few times I've walked out on a movie during credits because I always watch credits.  The movie itself was better than I expected though.

It seemed to me that they weren't really attracted to each other, but to what the other represented.  Jason Bateman's character wasn't ready to grow up, as you could see by the way he dressed and his clinging to all the old knick knacks and memories from his past.  She kind of gave him a way to recapture a little of that youth for a while.

She, on the other hand, already had some of her childhood ripped away when she became pregnant.  Hanging out with him allowed her to test the waters a little and see what she thought being a grown up is like.

That's a very good analysis.  It didn't seem wholly like basic attraction to me either or one might've made a move on the other.  But Juno didn't look comfortable after a while and McBateman wasn't leaving his wife for Juno, he was already in the process of leaving.

Hmmm I still think he wanted to fuck the pregnant teen.

I forgot to add, talking about this girl, I saw Hard Candy the other day. It's a darn good movie I have to say. I almost fainted in one scene, when she was doing the "cutting" (trying not to spoil shit here). It was bad, bad

I think I already read spoilers for that anyway.  I meant to see that but never got to it.

Ellen page is a great actress. I've seen Hard Candy (I have the DVD) and just saw Juno last night with a professor. Yeah, Bateman wanted to tap that hard, since he was Peter Panning and all. Jenifer Garner is a fucking horseface like the Sex in the City broad.

Are those her real lips btw? they scream collagen!

I just don't want to see Ellen Paige overkill like seems to happen when some cult becomes big like this.

Like every time I hear the name Judd Apatow I just punch the nearest person. I don't even remember going it. It's an involuntary reaction.

Ha ha, yeah.  Her face doesn't do it for me AT ALL.

But her body?

Well it certainly looked nice enough in the Electra outfit.  Don't know how much of that was "movie magic" aka (tape, cgi, glue, and body double) though.

Catherine Zeta Jones would have made a better Elektra over a horsefaced, brownhaired dolt who can't act.

Lots of women would've made a better Elektra.

I'm still shocked she got a spin off movie from that. I don't think Daredevil even did that well.... at least not good enough for a sequel and especially not for a spin off.

Course they are doing another Hulk movie.

Will I not see this one like I didn't see the other one?  Possibly.

Daredevil sucked balls.  They should've been happy they made any money from it at all.  Her Elektra probably sucked the most out of the entire movie.

I'm still iffy on the new Hulk...It looks like it could be better then first one. The cast is good,  it's produced by Marvel just like Iron Man which I heard was really well done, and no Ang Lee to be found. On the other hand i'm not a big fan of the Hulk and I didn't really like the first one all that much.

Still don't know if it's a sequel or a reboot though. I've heard both.

Iron man and the hulk having the same foil set up bothers me a little:

Iron man vs Evil Iron man

Hulk vs Abomination (read: Evil Hulk)

Title: Re: Has anyone watched Juno?

Well most of Iron Man's villains where just evil versions of him (Man in a suit of super powered armor.) with a few exceptions.

And most of Hulk's villians are kinda lame.

Well I guess these are both 1st movies and since neither have popular villains to fight the mirror match is ok.  The next movie needs hulk vs wolverine or The thing (any other hero) though as well as an actual villain.  As for iron man I don't want them to break out the mandarin or anyone shitastic like that but ...*googles*  crap it appears thats whats going to happen.

Fuck the mandarin...why would he be after starks missles it seems like he'd be more into finding the dragon balls to conquer the world than ballistics.

It looks like it will be similar to Stargate and SG-1. Similar, but not.

I may go see it then...I don't know. I said I'd see Iron Man too and have yet to do so.

And yeah for the next Iron Man movie they should break out a cool villain like Stilt-Man.

I almost got through that with a straight face.

The Mandarin better be badass, someone who can match RDJr's awesomeness.
