Title: It's 4:30 am already
Post by: The D on Oct 17, 2007, 03:24:05 AM
I'll probably be in bed by 5... I think this is the latest I've ever been awake.. EVER! And I'm still not sleepy!

I wonder if I'll be able to wake up for class at 11 this morning.

Shit....I've lost count of the times I've been up a full 24 hours. And if I did know the count then you take that and times it by 3 to find the times I've been up 18-22 hours straight.

I think the most I stayed up was about 36 hours.

I've been up for 2 nights straight.  I do not recommended it.  The body needs sleep.

4:30 that's a laugh.  I take sleeping pills just to fall asleep at that time.

I've been awake for 72 hours straight, last time I went to Peru. I didn't want to miss a moment :-D

You've been awake all this time?  You dum-dum.  You're an old woman now.  Lack of sleep will only make you wrinkle faster.

And D, FTW?  You've seriously been missing out.  Even for a non-drinker, asocial reclusive non-partier like myself, staying up all night in my shell is a treat!  Granted I was only able to do it once I was an adult, but aren't you suppose to pass for one or some junk?  What the hell, man?  I only recall one time where I was up over a complete day and that was several years back.  Every other time I've managed to sneak in sleep somewhere.

When you stay up all night things start to get weird the next afternoon.

They do?  When I stay up all night, there is no afternoon.

Yeah you start to get delirious and think that people are trying to peek at you while you're in the bathroom stall of the LA airport.

I once thought a car was randomly pulling out of it's parking spot on the street to intentionally hit me.  I mean, this was after being awake for a full 24 hours.

And after only 4 hours of sleep I felt fine! I woke up easily and wasn't tired. Obviously this battle body of mine doesn't need as much sleep as I thought it did.

And I've never done over 24 hours... I would usually get really really tired by 2-3 am, but I think all these late night delivery runs is acclamating my body to being up late and not getting sleep.

I can do that fine, but only if I've gotten enough sleep before (i.e. naps). Once you start missing on sleep a lot, it'll start stacking up and you'll need to sleep a long time to recover the hours that you missed, I think.

I think the tea I've been drinking or something is wreaking havoc on my sleep.  I'm not so inclined to think the tea because I've been drinking it off and on the past few months and didn't have problems then.  I haven't been very hungry these past few days either though.

Lately I've been sleeping only 3 to 5 hours a night. Too busy living life!

Junior year of college I was up 65 hours straight, the majority of which was spent programming and debugging a program in a language I didn't know.

A year later around the same time I stayed up 85 just to see if I could.

Well what's the point of paying 15$ a month to play a warrior when I already do that offline?

But I'm living life, too.  Like a housecat.  I get sleepy very easily.

Hmm. Makes sense. I mean, I don't have a giant attack-gorilla IRL, nor do I walk around blessing people constantly.
