So I'm in this heavy debate thread about sex crimes started by a girl who was raped at a young age. Fast forward to the end of the thread 10 or so pages later.
This guy admits that he's attracted to children. He admits to being a pedophile. He sees nothing wrong with this. He says there's a big difference between pedos, who find children attractive but don't do anything to them, and child molesters, who actually do things with children. He sees himself as being someone who's attracted to children but won't do anything with one.
He claims to have evidence there's a huge difference between a child molester and a pedo. He debates that children cannot consent to sex and expects me and other people in the thread to show evidence of that. He sees nothing wrong with a man being attracted to a pre-pubesent child and demands evidence that it's wrong. I said that having sex with children is unnatural, and then he goes and "proves" that it IS natural by comparing humans to apes like bonobos who have pedophilic relationships. Problem is, WE ARE NOT WILD ANIMALS. And when I say that "Children cannot consent to sex, they do not understand it, and they are not acceptable partners", he expects me to prove it as well.
In fact, he expects me to prove, with cold hard scientific facts, that there's something wrong with being attracted to children and even having relationships with them....
And then he says we're all spreading hate and biggotry as if he's gay and we're being gay haters. "I was born attracted to children like gay people were born gay! I can't change it!"
The thread has been dead for a month or so after he demanded evidence that pedophilia and child sex is a bad thing. I've been too busy to look anything up myself.

I remember someone at work brought up comparing pedophilia with homosexual and transexual issues in such a manner: In that they are "born that way" the same as homosexuals are "born that way". My arguement was pretty much the same in that the children are not properly fit/mature of mind to consent whereas an adult homosexual is.
Oh and we still think you're bad. What's worse is the need for "evidence" to prove child sex is a bad thing and your excuse being too busy to look anything up. That's like needing evidence decapitation would kill you. WTF, so if you weren't busy, you'd go looking for some? Why would you even waste your time? Bleh.

Ah this just made me remember that open case of that pr0n video of the little 3 year old girl that has been all over the news recently... They are still searching for the guy, and it seems as if the mom didn't know it happened (the girl is 7 now). The worst part is when they ask the mom if she's glad she found out, and she said something like "No, i wish i never knew" . WTF. i mean, i know its hard to deal with, but if my 3 year old daughter gets raped in video, i would want to know to kill the bastards and help her in any way i could

Well its a free country, and its the difference between having thoughts and acting on them that seperates us. Yes, pedophilia is terrible, but its also a disorder and you can't really be pissed at someone for having a disorder. You can however throw them in jail for life if they act on it and become a child molestor. Racists are free to be as hateful as they want, but its only wrong when they commit a crime. Otherwise its simply an opinion and they're entitled to it.
simple fact is your right to freedom ends the moment you infringe upon someone elses rights, IE rape, hate crimes, abuse, etc. This man can dream of baby fucking every night for the rest of his life, but as long as he doesn't actually DO IT, then its his burden to bear, not ours.
