It's what I named the board's karma function.  Kinda like giving props to people.  In reality, actual pellets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pellet_%28ornithology%29) are decidedly less cool.

But what do you mean by "props"?? Like if someone do something good, you give her/him a pellet?? @_@
