So I ponder. Now that I've been done with reading Goblet of Fire, I wonder if I should speed read Order and get it done before I see the movie. I had someone tell me that I had to read the book because the movie leaves out too much and I'd get confused otherwise.
....I wonder how she knows what the movie leaves out? Did she watch a bootleg of it?

There have been enough movie reports to know what's been left out, but I don't think you'll be vastly confused. Still, if you can read it before you see the movie, I think it will add to your enjoyment of it.

I usually wait till after the movie to read the book it's based on. Unless of course I've already read it years before (Like I have Order) as the movie falls short of the book more often then book falls short of the movie. There are exceptions though. That's right Jurassic Park...I'm looking at you!

I think it's better to familiarize yourself with the book, so you recognize things that are left out but are still able to acknowledge them.
And I thought this topic was gonna be about Voldemort getting it on with the flight attendent in the airplane bathroom (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=436499&in_page_id=1773&ico=Homepage&icl=TabModule&icc=picbox&ct=5).

She's one ugly flight attendant.

Nuri says she was doable. And I agree she wasn't that ugly.

I thought the thread title was a reference to Howard the Duck.
"I am not Mr. Jennings. I am now....somebody else"
"ENERGY!"
I want teh DVD. :'(

Voldemort can do better.

He certainly has, that one just made the news because of the circumstances.
I remember seeing the movie "Howard the Duck" but, like most of my childhood, it's a blur now.
