So, I was at the movie theater and I see this black trailer in front of the movie theater. Seems they were doing a pre-screening of Transformers... or at least 10 minutes of it.
It was the scene with the scorpion with the blender hands in the desert.
Some things I noted about the footage:
- The decepticon used energy weapons.
- Michael Bay's racist as fuck, there was a comedy bit with a retarded tech support guy from India.
- The soliders ended up calling in airstrikes from a pair of A-10s and a C-130 Gunship to try to destroy it.
- Why would the solider call the Pentagon? Why wouldn't he call another base or something? Can regular army guys do that?
Oh yea, and I have here proof that 9/11 wasn't caused by terrorists.... it was caused by DECEPTICONS!!

I found out last night that they're screening the entire new TF movie at Anime Expo on the last day. Hoooo shit!
-
I shouldn't find that 9/11 thing so hilarious but I do.
-
Sure, Bay's racist for pointing out a sad fact of life. Whatever.
And it might not have been caused by Decepticons. While that's definitely a Decepticon (a resurrected Devastator, I believe), he was revived by and was under the command of the Violenjiger. He wasn't a Decepticon/Destron...while his allegiances were unknown, he actually seemed to be more like a Quintesson. That makes sense, as he was able to resurrect the Nine Decepticon Generals much like the one quint in Return of Optimus Prime resurrected Op.
-
...WHAT?
-
Fuck Michael Bay, and Fuck your Transformers.
-
Ha! That was from Transformers: Zone. Why did all the baddies wear those damn flowing capes?
-
Racist, maybe; misleading, yes. India doesn't have the corner on 'tard tech support. Or maybe all the ones here work with insurance systems. :-\
-
Fuck Michael Bay, and Fuck your Transformers.
Agreed, I won't see this movie because... it doesn't fuckin interest me. I think this will bomb like Godzilla.
-
How is THIS supposed to be funny anyway? (http://iesb.net/index.php?option=com_xevidmegafx&Itemid=139&func=detail&id=851)
i stole that link from squirrel's board.. how the fuck does a transformers movie thread go to 99 pages?
-
When a board has drawn most of its membership from a large TF board and the thread in question is almost a year old. Sure as hell beats two or three new topics everytime somebody sees something new to talk about.
Also of note is the nearly 400-page thread on shit that pisses us off for no good reason (http://bonr.shwiggie.com/index.php?topic=1318.0).

I got some irrational fury... Try downloading an ISO file at 2-3 kbs on a torrent, even though there's 30 seeds. And even though the iso file is 4gb, I have a hard drive with 6 gb free, and a second hard drive with 40gb free. So I set up the file to download on the second hard drive, making sure even the temporary download location was the second hard drive. But it keeps on giving me "Hard drive is out of space" or "Not enough space on hard drive" errors in both uTorrent and Auzureus. I'm not sure how fucking 40gb is not enough fucking space for a 4gb file.
-
Older hard drives operate on the FAT32 file system, which can't handle single files larger than 4GB.
-
what ISO were u downloading?
-
But that doesn't qualify as irrational fury. To the contrary, that's perfectly rational...the cause is irrational, but the fury over it isn't.

Gah that's right, fucking Fat32....if only these computers used the new system
Edit: I was trying to download the AMV Hell DVD ISO, at school since they have a very fast internet connection. All the comps seem to have fat32.. although I could chell some of the other labs.

Read "irrational furry" and was trying to recall if I had ever encountered a rational one. My last experience with one was a con here at which some big furry artist had a table - I'm in the dealer's room and notice someone in a very elaborate fox costume. He sees me looking, and I'm smiling, actually about to say something nice like, "Wow, that looks like it took a lot of work" when he scowls and loudly proclaims, "THIS IS WHO I AM AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, TOUGH SHIT!!!" ::)

Furrys are fucked up.

Yeah, that. :joe:

What, you guys haven't ever been through Indian tech support hell? (http://www.fortunecity.com/lavendar/manwood/484/TF/Zone.html)
-
Yes. I made delightful small talk with an Indian tech about the upcoming monsoon. :stickdance:

Now being designated as FAG32. Thanks a lot bill gates!

I found out last night that they're screening the entire new TF movie at Anime Expo on the last day. Hoooo shit!
There was a long-ass line, they did bag checks, started seating late, and started the movie while there was still a loooong line of people waiting to get seated. Oh well. I skipped it and saw it in a real movie theater on Friday.
-
Good for you. I can't think of anything I would wait in a long-ass line to see when it's being released less than two weeks later nationwide.
-
I saw the movie at the Monday preview. I was surprised that they had a trivia contest before it started, though...I won a PS3 TF game (helped another guy win one for Wii), two hats, a duffel bag, a shirt (medium, of course :(), and a handful of posters and pins.
It was mahvelous.
