Taking bets on how long it takes for her to change it back.

I'll take that bet for "never", especially since I plan on losing the domain, too.

Post by: Rama on Dec 16, 2006, 01:07:48 AM
Well I don't have "never" on the board here. Besides you can't bet anyways. It's against the bi-laws. They'll never let you in the Hall of Fame if you do.

What I got is the first 14 days pays 4-1. House covers 2-4 weeks. Now 6-8 pays 2-1 and everything past that pays even odds.

Fuck it, fine.  I'll have Merla bet for me.  Nyeh.

Unless she changes her name to "Roneline", then we'll have another pool and she won't be able to be bet either.

Don't be a doofus, there was no "Roneline" in "Reynard the Fox".  You fail.

Yeah. But the name just makes me think its some kind of "line" of sad, sad guys waiting for Hermione to turn 18.

So I was just going with that Harry Potter Motif in my own head and used Ron. It's fun in here...like a Carnival that actually still has a freak show. *Le Sigh*

It's against the bi-laws.
You mean "bylaws".  "Bi-laws" would be rules for people of uncertain sexuality.  Or is there something I should know about this? ;)

Two other things worth noting:

First, she's been wanting to change her name for years, and I'm shocked it's taken this long to try it again.  I don't even remember what the last one I saw was, it's been so long.  Only time will tell if it sticks, but it'll take a while for the previous one to work out of my mind.

Second, what would the domain be in the future, or at least, when do we need to be looking?  Infrequent attendees such as myself would like to know when to expect an announcement.

Considering where we are...I figure both would have equal relevance.

Now you going to bet or not?

Well you better get use to it. After my comments about her changing it back, I'm betting she'll redouble her efforts to keep it.

Technically, the last time I changed it was when I was still on the Ezboard making multiple accounts, but I didn't like anything enough to keep it and my Gold accounts were attached to the old one.  Then I couldn't decided on what.  I originally wanted to go on some derivative of my real name (a la Zac Shipley) but decided it was in my better interests not to.  It doesn't matter if people still refer to me as Nuriko for a while, I just need to see something different when I log in.  I'm anime'd out and need to pee on George Lucas at this point.

It's going to be rabbitinasuit.com.  I was waiting to make a new front page before announcing it but since you asked, there you go.  It already resolves to this space and everything, though I haven't changed it in the forum settings yet  God willing this change will encourage me to make actual content for my website instead of the same moldy old Brian site, stale blog, and forum.  And there you go.

And yes, you guess correctly.  My new domain is in fact named after Rabbi Tina.

Thanks.

I'll be sure to forget it in a few days and then act all pissy when I finally return after having to ask IDE where the Sphere went.
