I think that's the Japanese release and price.
The US is getting it November 19 for $250 with a Wii Sports disc containing stuff like tennis, baseball, golf, etc.

I don't think the US would get it before Japan, nor do I think it'd vary that much.
I think the conference for the US is tomorrow. Launch is supposed to be worldwide, I think. Zero, back me up here.
I'd say the chances of us getting a different release are slim to none.

I want to pay 212 and no sports disc...unless it's all mario characters...then I want it.
-
I'd rather keep my two hundred bucks and draw a picture of Mario dying under one of his infamous karts.
-
I want to go live in Japan. Singapore is too westernized, although its still in my heart.
-
People care more about New York blowing up than, say, Eugene, Oregon.

Wrong thread? Tee hee.

What are you gonna spend your 200$ on then? Stupid stuff like food and electricity I'll wager!
-
For 200...I think I could hire an Italian plumber to run around saying "It's a me...MAIRO!" for a few hours, and I bet it would be a lot more entertaining.
Still better then ass raping buying a PS3 will put you through though.

Bills, food, clothes, dvds. $200.
A kitten's love. Priceless.
-
It is being released here first, supposedly as a stab at Sony.
-
Can anyone explain the points shit?
Like 500 for a NES game and 800 for a SNES game?
Do you have to buy the points?
If I want 50 different NES games am I gonna have to pay 250$?
If so that's fucking bullshit.
-
100 points is about a buck. Stack it.
And, yeah, it's clearly a rip off. The only Virtual Console games I would have even wanted were Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, but that isn't going to happen.
I prefer ROMs anyhow!
-
Points system? Koolaid!
-
SHENANGIANS!
GRAB YOUR BROOMSTICKS!
WII SUCKS!
-
Those aren't points those are yen. -_-
-
Well, thank you Gamestop/EB. I hope you fucking die.

That is correct sir!

-
Well, they're the Wiipoints.
Except they'll be an even bigger rip off than Microsoft Points.
-
Are you guys convinced that it's coming out Nov. 19 for $250 yet

P.S. we got the DS before Japan did too
-
100 Wii Points = 100 Yen, 1 US Dollar, or 1 Euro. Even though the actual values are all different. Nintendo is weird.
-
So how many NES games do you think would fit onto a wii disc?
-
Every NES game ever most likely.
-
With enough room for a South Park Episode.
