A Transformer Movie........you don't say?

And I half got excited for it when I saw the preview with Pirates. Then that large "A Michael Bay Film" came on the screen and that was over fast.

There's going to be a movie?

Oh god, is it live action? I smell bigger bomb than the one that took out Nagasaki.

Yes and staring a human cast of thousands. I hope there is enough screen time left over to actually show a Transformer.

The cast for Transformers should read like the cast listing for the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There were only like 10 people in that flick. (Which I just saw the other night thanks to IFC......and I don't know what the fuss was about. It wasn't that great.)

This movie has me really worried.  Other than Bay's hand in it, Spielberg loves to screw shit up these days...

Shia LeBeauf as Spike?  Yuck city.
Yellow General Grevious with Bumblebee's head?  Gay.
Bumblebee as a Corvette?  Meh.
Optimus Prime as a black truck with red flames? Still a rumor, still gay.
John Voight and Tyrese Gibson?  Weak.
Ludacris as a Decepticon (rumored to be Soundwave)?  Beyond Fire Island.

I don't care about Transformers btu I think this movie is going to rock my shit. Shia is pure gold and everything about it looks 10 shades of awesome.  I just can't believe Trannies are complaining about aspects of this movie when the franchise doesn't deserve anything more than the Super  Mario Bros. movie.

Ha ha, comedy gold AND shameless product promotion.  We better get that ee-ee-EE-ii-ee transforming noise to go with it.  Then the fag-pod can queue up "My Humps".  Then roll credits.  Michael Bay, you sly fox.

Hey, he's a producer on a remake of "The Hitcher".  Why can't new shit be regurgitated?  Is it so hard to make a new slash-em thriller what-not with an angry hitchhiker.  At least if it's good, we can talk about how they ripped off "The HItcher".  Now that it'll inevitiably be bad, we have to talk about how dumb it was they remade "The Hitcher".

It didn't seal it for me, but it did add a chell in the pro column...which balances out Bernie Mack being attached to this film in the Con column.

He'll be playing a used Car salesman so I highly doubt he'll have a big role. Now all they need is Frank Welker or David Kaye to play Megatron...Though I'd love to have Gary CHalk in there as a voice for some Autobot.

Dude, the gag-pod can totally chill with Bernie Mac at the end of the film!  Then the x-box can chase him around the room, and Bernie can be all "Bernie Mac, roll out!".  And everyone will laugh.  Queue credits.  This movie gets better and better.

I read somewhere that Welker's auditioning for the movie, and that the jury's still out.  But given his history with the franchise, his status as the go-to voice guy in Hollywood, willingness to do stuff far beneath that status, and the fact that pure nostalgia is driving this film, I'd say it's his if he wants it.

This movie MUST go for the thirty- and twentysomething guy who grew up watching weekday afternoon cartoons, and the vast majority of these guys aren't the Transnerds we hate from the online domain.  The designs have to be contemporary but easily recognizeable, and the voices need to echo the old series.  From what I've seen and heard, that's the aim.

And fuck a Kaye and Chalk.  Call 'em when they decide to do a Beast Wars movie.

My ex  was a virgin at 21.  Lots of fun customizing him.  ;)  He wasn't ugly or anything - his best friend swore to me that he was scared half to death of getting an STD, and that came from a health class they had in freshman year.  The teacher described old methods of treating clap like stretching the penis out on a block and hitting it the entire length with a wooden mallet to break open the pustules in the urethra, them inserting a red-hot wire to cauterize them.  Completely squicked him out.

You should lose your virginity to a childhood friend IMO not someone you're involved with but someone who you've known since like 2nd grade and were always close with...that's how I did it anyways...though she doesn't know that she took my virginity to this very day.

Well that would explain why I don't have much respect for the frat boy. That and it seems their other life's quest is to get plastered till they can't remember what they did or where they did it. And what's sad is they are the privileged that will one day be leaders in this country. The politicians, the doctors, the Lawyers, and the CEOs. And they'll have learned none of the values or gone through any of hardship that forge good leaders.

The only thing they are good at is on being in a circle jerk.
I'm sure that in the future, more non-frat men will realize that giving good positions to frat guys is useless, so hopefully they'll be barred from good positions soon.
I have to say I've never met a man that is in a good position in a company that was in a frat in their college years. So that's a good start.

I think the Freemasons have another 50 years of life left in them. There just isn't enough younger people wanting to get in compared to their huge numbers in the last 100 years or so. Hell the local Masonic lodge had to rent out their bottom floor to a law firm just to keep their building. (Which would be sad since it has Masonic symbols all over it.)

It doesn't matter. There aren’t enough younger people joining to offset the number that are dying off due to old age. It's sort of like an endangered species.... If more are being killed then are born then the species will die out, and that's what's going to happen to the Masons. I do think it'll hold on longer in England...might make it another 75-100 years there, but on a whole the writing is on the wall. Like my father was a mason, and I could pull some strings and get in, but I have no desire to do so. And that's the attitude of a lot of guys my age. I'd say 1/4 of son of Masons will join up....and in another generation it'll be more like 1/8.

But fret not, there are many other secret societies coming up that'll take its place.

Oh and here you go Merla:

Yeah nothing really sinister about them. Just a bunch of old white guys sitting around shooting the breeze. I think a lot of the mystic feelings are gone cause there really aren’t any secrets anymore. They are a secret society without any secrets. The mystery is always more appealing then the facts.

Now The Bilderberg Group....those are the guys you gotta watch. They invite repeorters to their conferences and yet there has never been a report about them. Not even the CIA could get the media to shut up. I'm scared of any group that can.

No I hadn't.... So I looked it up. But really it's still a mostly male white group, despite that. It was founded by White Men of Privilege (at least it's modern form where it doesn't even matter if you're actually a mason or not.) and that's pretty much what it has stayed through most of it's history. And generally in Pre-WW2 Japan.... They hated anything that wasn't from Japan.
